  1. yeah...it's a little late, considering they changed how they were handling the entire process. Maybe you should read up on current events before posting on something obsolete.
  2. Just got back home and was actually very surprised to see this topic actively being discussed. A lot of people have very valid points, positive, negative, and neutral. I just look at it like this. In a world where companies like Apple try to sue any other company that even comes close to copying a design feature, who's to say other gaming companies might not do the same? Who's to say BW is trying their damndest to figure out a way to integrate the features we want without explicitly copying established code? We've already seen issues and bugs that seem trivial in comparison to other games. But, consider this: What if some of the delay in development is because BW is trying to do these features using scratch code so as not to step on toes of other people who have made it work? Maybe we don't have all the features we want just yet because they haven't figured out a way to duplicate the features of other games without duplicating the basis of programming the feature is based on? I base this thought on simple observation, not on research, so don't kill me for not having research to base on. My thoughts are speculation only. Some things in the game just have a very "beginner" feel to them, like this game was an experiment to see if they could manage to try new methods to bring about old results. I don't know. All I'm saying is that we should just wait a bit, have faith that BW to rise to the challenge and we'll see major improvements in the future.
  3. Granted, but I'd be more than willing to bet that people still complained about stuff that Rift did NOT launch with. The point was more along the lines of just wait a bit.
  4. I keep reading posts about stuff people want that should have went in at launch, then saying WoW's got it...why cant we? Here's some perspective: LFG tool - WoW did not add this feature in until the end of 2006, two years after release. Dual Talents - WoW did not add this feature in until mid 2009, five years after release. And many other similar features. As a playerbase, a lot of people are trying to whine and beg for a 7 year old release bemoth to already exist for a 2 month old release infant. Bioware has already said that they're working on developing most of the stuff we want. To end this little foray into reality vs. fantasy and wishful thinking, here's the word of the day: pa·tience    [pey-shuhns] noun 1. the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like. 2. an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay
  5. I've been looking around the forums but haven't seen this mentioned. I suppose because it's minor in the scheme of things but.... When we sort levels, we want a numerical sorting, not an alphanumerical sorting. We want 50, 49, 48, etc...not 9, 8,7,6,50,5,49,48...41,40,4,39, etc. Also, ranks are not even close to displaying in any sort of coherent order. They don't sort alphabetically OR (ideally) in rank order. I am glad, at least, that the entire roster appears now.
  6. You don't need us. Go with your instincts.

  8. I ordered from origin. I got my preorder code same day and entered it in the same day I bought it. I don't expect to see my retail code until 12/20. If it comes earlier, I'll enter it in.
  9. You do realize that those numbers do not denote a THESE, but a THIS. It's the same exact hour. They probably have enough to deal with sending out EGA invites as it is without having to worry about the logistics of sending out smaller batches every time the sun hits a new time zone.
