  1. Ok so I thought the same thing before about the "off to destroy the republic" line, however it fits into the lore b/c it only happens in void star, and the "void star" is a sith ship, so you are talking to a droid on a sith ship who is asking if your going to destroy the republic. Oh and that "Go Team" line is just horrendous.
  2. When people run the wrong way in Huttball. It is annoying when it happens on your team, I just assume the person who did it is high/drunk and/or dumb.
  3. The Five Best PvP'ers On the Server: 1. Dylan 2. Dylan 3. Dylan 4. Dylan 5. Dylan Because he spits hot fire http://youtu.be/Z9lg6HqJeY0
  4. Really there should be a mailbox in each of the four corners of the fleet, but there is such heavy traffic in the pvp area that one should specially be there
  5. This bother anyone else? There are mailboxes in other parts of the fleet why does the pvp area get no love.
  6. I don't think people are complaining about pvp as much as they are complaining about the bolster system, which isn't working as attended at the moment. People expect fixes to be lightning fast but it takes time in a game this massive to work out the kinks of bolster. and not completely brake the game. I am sure they are working on it currently and trying to fix it. Personally I hope to see this fix in by 2.1
  7. Agreed, also I feel vehicles should be bound to legacy as well . And even though I know it won't happen datacrons tool, the worst thing about creating a new toon is having to get all of them (needed for class) all over again
  8. Both servers and practically every server in this game has a much higher empire pop than republic....the republic gear in pvp is hideous (after battlemaster) though you can pull the mods and stuff out and put it in any piece you want
  9. Either the bastion or pot5, people can argue all day which is the best server the facts are that both servers have good players on them and a ton of bads. I think pot5 has a higher pop and is usually heavy populated in the evenings b4 bastion gets heavy pop (makes sense since its a east coast server) you will get wz pops as frequently on both servers. I know that on pot5 there has been successfull attempts at organizing owpvp on a mass scale I don't know about the bastion, there are videos on YouTube of this. Really the best server for you is one where u can find a guild with people who you can get along with and enjoy playing with
  10. OP if you are solo queing you should not go in expecting a win, pvp is a team effort and if you want to do well join a guild and que with a full group, this goes for both fractions.
  11. 20k is to much but 6.5k is not enough I feel after the expansion we should be getting more creds per match maybe 10k
  12. I don't see the big deal, you can get from 50-55 in what 8 hours? Then its done with and you need a new set of wz gear. I too put a lot of time in getting my EWH gear but I know what a level/cap expansion entails, so i missed out 5 levels of having the best gear in PVP its still great for leveling on Makeb. Does anyone remember at launch how bad it was to have 50's in your wz with expertise? Can you imagine what it would be like to have full EWH against a level 35?
  13. So with 2.0 here and all the trees reworked i presume the FoTM class (for PvP) is due for a change. Now I'm not debating over if the changes made in 2.0 are good or bad. And I know its still to early to tell but we can all speculate. My vote is for snipers/gunslingers I see them being the new top DPS in wz. and possibly sorcs/sages (their DPS and healing has become beastly) I still believe the PT'/Vanguard's (the reigning champs from 1.2 and beyond) will be viable (even though there is alot of cyring going on right now in their sub-section of the forums) just not as good as before. Another topic to raise up are the classes now more on par with each other or before the 2.0 patch.
  14. I want to start off by saying that I play a Sage and I know that my hybrid spec is OP and I think the nerf was justified in the end it will force sages to do more single target than AOE damage which is more use full in PvP anyway. Now the other class that is also obviously OP in its current state are the tank assassins/shadows. 1vs1 they are able to own any class (though I know this game is not basing its balance on 1vs1 but wz). They have incredible utility (knock-back, stuns, interrupts, pulls, heals etc.) as well stealth and they have the survivability afforded to a tank (and guard for medals). And more often than not you have full spec'd tanks topping the damage boards, when those shadows/assasins that spec into dps are getting no where near. I feel that the anger come from the fact that almost all classes getting a nerf yet they did not nerf what seems to be one of the obviously most OP classes.
  15. I play on Terentatek as Republic and I have to say that even though we are out numbered and most of the rep is out geared I rarely lose in a wz, though I only pvp in premades. Ilum isn't bad either we have a dedicated faction vent and very often role the imps with less numbers since we are more organized as a faction.
