  1. Really? This just seems like it would be a waste of resources if taken with any seriousness, & quite ridiculous in my opinion. Sure, if the rules were not broken, it should definitely disputed right to the end.
  2. Anyone with a brain would have realised this to be the case. Explains why we have such a response from the community. This.
  3. Heh, why am I not surprised... another half-assed job.
  4. I'll just say that in the Star Wars universe, the light & dark sides of the force are something that we, as beings outside of the movie realm & with no access to these fictional powers, could not truly comprehend. It could be that Luke, with his ability to access & control the force, has been able to sense something that made him understand why the dark side should be avoided at all costs. For this reason, he behaved the way he did when confronted by both Darth Vader & the Emperor. By all accounts, to us as viewers, when compared to our reality & what we are used to, it seems that his behaviour was ridiculous & unacceptable. But clearly there is far more going on here, that must be considered. It is for this reason that I choose to simply accept how he behaved & move on.
  5. In all, I bought 2 hyper crates and then a few more regular crates, all in the hope of getting a Savanna Vorantikus - man, I think it looks awesome, & one of my Sith would have loved riding it. Alas it wasn't to be, and I ended up with random junk (I realised this would most probably be the case before I purchased, of course). It was funny because just after I'd purchased a whole bunch of crates, I was doing a mission with my Smuggler, & one of those Vorantikus' was there in the cave! I thought to myself "yeah - meant to be, yo!". So proceeded to go hard out opening the crates. LOL. Needless to say it is doubtful as to whether I'd purchase any of these things ever again, after experiencing the RNG first hand.
  6. This. And why couldn't the launcher report an error if it could not connect, instead of just sitting there doing nothing... Thank you to NikSunrider.
  7. Trying to combine stacks of legacy bound items between inventory and storage (in my case stronghold storage) returns an error: Both items are bound and cannot be merged Items such as Jawa scrap, certificates etc. It works if you move items to the same location and then combine.
  8. Is it a class story mission? I didn't think it was. Last time I contacted CS for a mission related issue, I was informed: "We are sorry that you have encountered an issue with your mission, however please be advised that we currently only offer support for class story missions."
  9. Oh god, I am so glad I'm not the only one. My brain was pulsating with nerd rage while reading the remaining posts.
  10. Today I purchased my first stronghold, on Dromund Kaas. I like it, but there is a lot of space, & it will take time to fill. One of the first things that occurred to me though, was it would be interesting if there were an "interior decorator" function, that would enable people to decorate their stronghold &, once complete, essentially save it as a design template, which could then be sold to other players for either cartel coins or in-game credits. The value would be comprised of the time & effort taken to create the design (up to the designer, or market value), plus the total cost of the decorations. Actually, at this point in time I do not even know of the ways in which decorations are obtained. I don't like to do this, but I will assume that decorations can be purchased from fleet/cartel, or from other players (crafted), or perhaps also from events/quests/drops. This suggestion kind of depends on the validity of this. The way I see this functioning, is that there would be a sandbox interface which gives you access to: A) All of the available strongholds B) All decorations that can be purchased C) All decorations that you have crafted & are stored in one of your inventories (assuming you can craft them) D) All other decorations that you may have, & which are able to be traded. From within this interface, the decorator could decorate a stronghold & save it (they could be opened & saved later too). This could then be sold to another player, who could apply it to their own stronghold, fully decorating it instantly. *Any decorations which have been crafted by the decorator would be saved with the design (i.e. removed from their inventory). *There should be no way for someone to open this design & resell it. This means the design could not be duplicated, nor could it be traded. *The decorator should not need to purchase any cartel decorations prior to saving the design - these would be purchased by the player at the time the design is applied to their stronghold (they would be aware of the cost beforehand). If the costs involved in something like this are too prohibitive for the average player, then potentially that would prove this suggestion to be not worthwhile. I mean, if a decorator priced up a design to be (let's say) $1M plus 10K CC, then the majority may not be interested. So I don't really know what the costs would be. However something like this is worth putting out there, I think.
  11. Yes, I like this. After enjoying the Bane novels, the Plagueis novel, Revan, Han Solo, all the rest, plus some of the Dark Horse comics etc - all of these things add up to my overall Star Wars enjoyment. To classify some of these things, in my mind, as either "canon" or "legends" - it doesn't really make any sense. I choose to ignore these categorizations & simply enjoy the stories as "Star Wars". Of course using "canon" or "legends" to explain inevitable inconsistencies is natural, but I don't really let it bother me.
  12. I had a Mirialan smuggler & tried to change to one of these hair styles. Seeing they cost CC, I purchased a pack, noting that the pack description mentioned Human only, but nevertheless since they were previewable in the appearance change machine, I figured the description was an oversight. And nope - could not use those hairstyles on my Mirialan. Could not save the changes in the appearance change machine, and could not select the hair styles in char creation. Ended up rerolling to human. This was pre 3.0 so not sure if this is resolved now.
  13. Well, I really only came back due to the 12x XP. I never got round to finishing off the Smuggler story line, which I previously had been enjoying immensely. Now that 12x is over, I am finding it a struggle to build up motivation to log in & continue playing. I really can't stand the thought of having to repeat all the side quests for what seems like the billionth time. I don't see any option other than to quit again, & hope eventually 12x returns. I'm not a typical MMO player though, when it comes to this game. I had my fill long ago, & at this point my only interest is to play through the class stories & be done.
  14. Luckily I didn't get early access, or I too could have spent a boat load of creds on training I wonder why Bioware didn't include this change as part of 3.0? Well I think we all know the answer.
  15. I'm back after a 2+ year "break" from the game. Thought I'd start by finishing leveling my smuggler, which is Mirialan. But don't really like his look, so went to the (new to me) appearance designer. Hmm, there's a few hair styles I like, but they have this purple outline around that part of the slider bar, & I can't seem to accept the changes. I wonder why? Maybe a cartel unlock? Let's see. Oh yeah, there's the two hair styles I could see on my Mirialan smuggler in the appearance designer preview. They need to be purchased after all. Hmm, but they are "Human" hair styles? I guess this means only Humans can use the hair styles. But that doesn't make any sense. I mean, Humans & Mirialans both appear to use the same character model, differing only by skin. All of the other hair styles seem to work on both races. Also, I could see them in the appearance designer after all - the new "Human" hair styles obviously work on Mirialans, & simply need to be unlocked. Why else could I preview them on my Mirialan. Surely the developers have used the word Human loosely in this case? Surely. Glad to be back.
