I don't know if I am alone in thinking this, but Mouseover healing is not the same as an addon. an add-on will tell you who to heal and with what, mouse over healing will allow you execute that heal without needing massive wrist surgery at the age of 40. Take away the addon, now you need skill and judgement to allocate the correct heal where it is needed, keep the mouseover and you still keep arthritis at bay. One is a crutch, the other stops you needing one. I like the analogies people use, one earlier used a soccer (ITS FOOTBALL !) one earlier, fine, at the beginning of that game they used 3 tonne leather balls with full on stitching, where taking out the goalkeeper by kicking him was a valid, and applauded tactic.. Are you saying the game was a better game to play / watch / contribute to then? I can heal the current way, I do heal the current way. I would like to think I am quite good at healing the current way. But I would enjoy the game a lot more if they allowed to use mouse over healing.. (note I did not say macro, or addon, or self-mega-super-no-interaction healing, but mouseover) I am not bothered about add-ons (being able to see buffs / defuffs clearer would be nice in the standard UI, my eyesight it not what it used to be, old age and all that.) but mouseover would just make the game flow so much better. I can fight the mobs, not the UI. DD

I think unfortunately (or depending on your outlook fortunately) its not broken for everyone. My class quests progressed perfectly through that point, as did other guildies. I know it does not help you, but it may explain a little why it exists, as its not broken for everyone, and probably has not been captured until now. I hope you get a response soon. DD
