  1. Just wanted to outline a hybrid spec/rotation aimed at PVE that I made, see what people think. (5/18/23) The basic idea is I start paring abilities off of the balance tree while climbing up to Infiltration Tactics. (Also I stay in Force Technique as I think there are more procs to be had there than Circling Shadows on Shadow Technique) The "Rotation" looks like this. Opener Phase Stealth -> Shadow Strike DOT Setup Force In Balance -> Force Breach Wait for Procs Double Strike -> Shadow Strike (Proc) -> Mind Crush (Proc) -> Double Strike Double Stike until its time to reapply DOTs or you get another proc. I have been able to increase dps in roughly 156/162 gear from Balance (~2200) to this hybrid (2500). Some thoughts: This probably resembles a variety of PVP builds floating around out there. Due to its reliance on Shadow Strike it also relies heavily on position, much like scrapper scoundrel. Also I am fully aware of the buffs we are receiving in June, so I know it has a short shelf-life. I would love to hear other people's opinions on it and let me know if it actually does improve over straight balance.
  2. Yeah, anything that can be augmented with a crit success will yield augment components. Heres what I mine Cybertech - Earpieces Biotech - Implants Artifice - Shield Generators I don't have hard numbers in front of me to back this up, but I think artifice is the most efficient. With Cyber you have a chance to get holli, and with biotech getting the right kind of sample can be frustrating. But in any event it is far cheaper to do it on those three than on armormech.
  3. Rich>Bountiful>Abundant>Moderate
  4. I am still making Mk-9s, and making a pretty tidy profit off of them. The secret is to use biochem, cybertech, and artifice toons to make the mk-9 components then mail them to an armormech, synth, or armstech toon to make the kits themselves. If you go with the latter 3 the cost does rise considerably. Plus if you have those latter three toons cranking out augments (blue and purple) when they aren't making MK-9 kits, you are golden.
