L2p? Isn't the point to win war zones by scoring? While your busy running around trying to rack up 500k damage I'm too busy "winning". This post is nothing more than you stroking your epeen. Get over yourself and accept the fact that a good player comes in many forms not just racking damage or kills. I have yet to come across a deception sin I can't beat 1vs1 as darkness. While you may have proven deception, if properly played, can dominate in pvp kills/damage in war zones it still eats **** to the versatility, utility, and dps overtime that darkness brings to the table in war zones and operations. I que solo, maybe that's the problem... If they are doing 5k they are in full battle master gear. Your exactly right, I'm doing something wrong, I'm not queuing in a full group in a guild using vent wearing full battle master gear. I guess that's what defines the power of deception. It's heavily gear dependent for success.

Not sure I agree with you. Just completed kaon under siege on hard mode with 1 tank assassin, my hybrid, a healing sorc, and an operative. When needed I could off tank. Aoe was fairly helpful against the hordes of creatures. Having high survivability with good dps vs squishy with high dps seems to be a better combination in my opinion.

Try bursting a good healer with 20k which seems to be fairly popular. While it's great to be bursting around 4k most people don't have that kind of gear to be hitting like that. Even with 6 pieces of champion gear and all others purple i didn't come close to 4k bursts.

I used to solo champions as deception. However it was a lot more work with the same result. As for pvp, my rotation was fine. Maul when ew is up, shock with induction, time the ccs and cc breakers, cloak out and in, force slow and speed when needed, and etc. yeah I got it not a noob. I went darkness up to Eye of the storm and madness up to raze. With the survivability of darkness and adding death field and raze there is no comparison to deception. Since there is no damage parser i rely on the consistency of my performance in the war zones. It's night and day. I gain survivability while substituting the dps of deception with raze and death field. not to mention my force regen is insane. Makes for a much enjoyable playtime without having to really worry about micromanaging my force with deception. After playing hybrid and seeing the difference against marauders, mercs, self healing sorcerers, and snipers, I believe deception could use a boost in pvp. I'm beginning to realize the whole burst and stealth thing isnt working against self healing players who have 20k hp, which is becoming more popular in the pvp world. If you haven't played hybrid, I highly recommend it. It puts deception to shame

Leveled 1 - 50 using deception. pvp daily. I switched to a darkness / madness hybrid to test out. I do the same damage in war zones, can solo champions with minimal effort, and I have a ******** of defense capability. After playing 1 month of deception vs 1 hour of hybrid. Deception is garbage in pvp and pve.

BW admitted that it was a mistake and that this type of PVP valor xp racking is not intended. If people are going to spend time exploiting that mistake, they deserve to be rollbacked. For you to call people who played the game as intended and invested a significant amount of their "time" to be butthurt losers, somethings wrong with you. Have a good night. Shrug, call it what you will. I support "character rollbacks" and yes companies make mistakes. However, if they don't do a "character rollback" the OP and myself included, are justified in our frustration. I think you missed the OP's main intention. He wants to garner support for a character rollback.

You guys are harsh. The OP makes a valid point. Due to BW's oversight regarding the pvp reward system there are now a ******** of people running around who clearly didn't earn their pvp valor the way BW intended. People work their *** off to obtain valor 60 and if BW doesn't do any type of rollback I can understand why they would quit out of frustration...

I would have no problems playing this class if bioware would fix the damn animation problems. It's frustrating as hell when I have to button mash my assassinate and maul because neither fires 3 times in a row, this is major in pvp and means life or death. Bottom line is I think most people would find this class more enjoyable And more deadly to play if it was actually playable the way it should be.

Thrash/voltaic sash, maul, and assassinate are major components to the sins rotation. When I'm constantly criting 3k on my assassinate I sure as hell want it to hit every time (in pvp).
