  1. But...why? Why should RPers have to move? Why can't other players just live and let live, and allows others to do their own thing and respect that? As stated above, the EB is a RP Server. But I know what the haters will say, "The Mods won't do a damn thing about it, so they will continue to do it." Which explains the whole situation. The company gets their money, and they don't give a damn about it.
  2. The thing is, you can individually ignore the RP players, so you don't see their RP anymore. BUT....the specific trolls that spam literally hundreds of Jawagrams...which 'cannot' be ignored...are 'specifically' targetting and griefing (which is against the TOS) for 15 to 30 mins at a time, and then follow their targets around to continue to grief them, are the main problems here. Their actions are specific and personal.
  3. Now this guy gets it, and nails it right on the head.
  4. Not 'new' to RP, or even MMOs, been playing them since EverCrack came out. So I'm probably twice your age kid. And as I said in another post, I'm not 'raging', whining, or whatever you want to call it along those lines. I'm just pointing out the disrespect, and pointing out that this is, what it is in this day and age. Little Keyboard Warrior that get a thrill out of harassing folks that aren't bothering them at all. By condoning it, as you so aptly put it, 'you' are the one that encourages them to continue to do it...that is, unless your one of the ones that is doing it, which wouldn't surprise me in the slightest considering your post. So, you can continue to assuming that I'm sitting her pounding my fists on the KB...if that makes you feel better to believe that...but its far from the truth. I don't get pissed off by a video game, but I 'can' point out and state my opinion on the subject without being that way. Believe it or not, there are people like myself that don't get all butthurt over a game.
  5. Not 'raging' about it. I'm merely pointing out the disrespect that permeates the various stations. At my age raging over a game is a long since passed thing. It is what it is.
  6. Really? Got nothing better to do than to spam Jawagrams, camp your speeders in the middle of a group of RPers that are minding their own business and enjoying some storytelling between themselves? Were you ignored by RPers and this is your revenge on them? Or did Mommy and Daddy leave the computer room door unlocked again? Roleplayercop, or whatever ******* name you have, is probably the worst of them all. And before any or you say report them....done it, many times, the Admins/Mods/Devs don't give a damn.. I'll probably get a warning for starting this thread before they do anything about the harassment that these people are causing.
  7. Technically, it IS EA's fault that they have weak security on their servers to allow the attacks.
  8. Yep EH is down, booted multiple times.
  9. My Character MacQuillen (Gunslinger) on the Rep side.
  10. Umm, doing Episode XIII and suppose to meet Gault on Vandin, but it just sends me to Republic Fleet. Clicked the play button and same thing. Bug?
  11. All these points are dead on, but there is another point I would like to make concerning interacting with other people's toons. Don't do anything that would effect another person's toon without their approval prior (i.e. disarm them, use Force Powers on them, or really anything that 'you' would force on their characters). Once you get to know another person (and their toon) they will be more accepting of your character doing something to theirs. All owners of toons generally think of their toon as a strong fighter, powerful Jedi, etc...Some have already worked out their character's back story, demeanor, etc..So for a complete stranger to just make or do something to their toon is usually considered extremely rude. My advice is to come to your characters respective Fleet Cantina and blend in, find an opening in other people's characters and join in (or send a /tell to one and ask if you can join in...sometimes other characters may be working on a story plot and interrupting them might piss them off.
  12. Besides the naked Eric problem. Eric is NOT at the spot at the Vantage Point where it says to speak with him.
  13. Same problem here. Got to vantage point, says to speak with Eric...no Eric to be found.
  14. SWTOR is based 'hundreds' of years before Episode 7...so having Knights of Ren armor, or Stormtrooper armor like from the movie would be 'way' off.
  15. No, if you read the Dev Tracker, you would know that the Servers aren't even up yet, and that they are having connectivity issues.
  16. OP, are you in the habit of reposting and now creating a basic copy of a response that you gave nearly a month ago? http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=109690&page=3 What, you didn't get the attention that you needed from that one, so you created a thread just to basically repeat it? Obviously, you vocal 'minority' types just can't get it in your head that you are....well....a vocal minority. Meaning that the 'majority' of the people like this game. Your whine about YOUR opinion that this game will fail/fall/lose subs, etc...has been heard. Now, unsub, or just walk away....its really kinda simple.
  17. I see. For the Sentinal, nearly all the Medium armor has the hoods. Got so tired of the hoodies, that I got the Smuggler med. armor and switched out. I think the reason that the Sith side Med. Armor users don't get alot of hoodie armors is the fact that nearly all your headgear covers the entire face. The Jedi ones all get these girly looking headbands.
  18. Did you know that you can buy Modable Armor for other classes, other than Marauder, that your class can use...remove the Mods, and put in your class Mods. I play a Sentinal, and I bought a Smuggler's modable armor, removed the Smuggler mods and then replaced them with mods suited to a Sentinal. Just a FYI if you didn't know.
  19. I don't know where some people are getting that this game is too hard. Sure, there are some bosses (Elites) that might take me a couple of tries to get, but I always manage to get them. And in my play, I have yet to group for Flashpoints, Raids or even do the Heroic Side Missions. Yes, let me say that again...I have NOT played a single Heroic Mission. I have played all the soloable side missions and my Class (Sentinal) Missions completely solo, and by the time that I have left a planet to go to a new one, I am usually a level or two above the required level for the next planet. Granted, I am now 37 on Quesh, and I am equal to the level of Quesh's Mobs. Elite mobs are hard, but you just have to use your character's often unused abilites to stun, or stop them from using their high damage attacks...in my Sentinal's Case, the round kick to stop their power attacks, or Force Stasis to stop them. There is no "Easy" button for these mobs....
