  1. Thank you both. No I don't plan on ever using more than 1 video card at a time, and I didn't know that about the 3.0. I was kind of leaning on not worrying about 3.0, so that makes it a little easier. PhoebeFrost , which intel Mobo for <150 would you pick for a 2500k SB? I'll want one that makes OCing through the Bios fairly easy for mild OCs Thanks again
  2. As it says, finally getting rid of my Phenom II x4 processor for some Intel action. I need help choosing the processor and mobo. The processors I'm set on choosing from are either the i5-2500k SB or the i5-3570k IB. So my first question is about PCIe 3.0. Will the 2500k sandy ever take advantage of this feature, or just the ivy bridge? I don't foresee my buying another mobo/cpu in the next few years, so will things start using the 3.0 in that time? If I bought the 3570k IB, I was going to get a GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128544&Tpk=GIGABYTE%20GA-Z77X-UD3H%20LGA%201155%20Intel%20Z77 I've had good experiences with Gigabyte so I thought I'd stick with them, and I'd like to keep the cost of the Mobo at or less than $150. Not much else to say other than I'm open to advice. Would it be worth getting the 3570k for 3.0 later on? If not, should I stick with the z77 for the 2500k, or would you recommend getting a different chipset? Thanks in advance EDIT: Also important to note that I will be doing some mild overclocking, nothing too crazy though.
