  1. It's not exactly rigid if it's a purely optional system. Adding /roll for those of us who want it doesn't prevent those who don't want it from using Group Loot or other methods provided.
  2. Because in a situation where everyone rolls "Need", you have ninjas getting gear they shouldn't. e.g., sith warriors rolling Need on imperial agent gear, and getting it. With Master Looter and /roll, the raid leader is able to control who gets what, fairly. So whoever wants it types /roll, and it works just like a Need roll. Only now, the raid leader can see if the winner is actually able to use the item.
  3. I don't get it... what's there to defend, that /roll would ruin SWTOR?
  4. Why WOULDN'T it matter? If world bosses are in the game, you need a method other than Group Loot where everyone can just Need on everything, in order to hand out loot civilly.
  5. I just had to hand out world boss loot by having people guess a number between 1 and 10. That is NO WAY to hand out loot... But, since Bioware decided not to add /roll, there was no other option. What I really want to know is why wasn't it included, and when can we expect it?
  6. new day bump, sorry for the mess on the first page yeah this is pretty much the problem
  7. It's not worth it to queue up for PVP while questing right now, because if you happen to join an in-progress game, you'll be removed from the match and sent back to Imperial/Republic Fleet as soon as you load in, because you're flagged as an AFKer while on the loading screen. Anyone else having this problem? I'm looking for some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, other than "your computer sucks". I believe AFK flagging needs to start after the player has loaded in, instead of as soon as the Join Game button has been clicked. @below. Why are you so intent on getting your forum access removed? Please. I asked you nicely before to stay out of this thread as you are not providing any actual constructive feedback to the problem. The problem is the AFK flag is being applied when i press Join Game, not when the game sounds come on during the loading screen. I don't want this to become another "your social class sucks" thread, I don't want it to become a "your computer sucks" thread. Because it doesn't. I run SWTOR and other games smoothly. Franky, I just don't want you in this thread, as you've proven to be nothing more than a troll intent on harassing me.
  8. It still needs to be fixed, and NOT flag people afk when they're on a loading screen -.-
  9. It actually IS the game's problem if it's flagging me for AFK as soon as i click Enter. It should start flagging you as soon as you are fully loaded in. It can check by flagging you as soon as you move around in the spawn area. Or, you know, after 1 minute after loading in and remaining in the "i just loaded in" or "click to respawn, respawn" area. Thinking of whatever I can, i'm not a programmer or game designer, but this is a huge flaw if i'm being punished for wanting to PVP while anywhere other than the Fleet

  11. Why do you people even need an Appearance tab? You already have Custom gear that you can mod up to be just as good as raid gear, and keep the appearance. In essence, THEY HAVE an Appearance Tab.
  12. And what of everyone who is having code redemption problems caused by Origin? Are we utterly screwed out of early access?
