Thanks for the suggestions - I feel like I have a direction now.

So I'm going to hit level 50 for the first time soon. I'll keep going to 55 after that, but from what I understand, getting gear, etc changes a lot once you hit 50. Up until now, basically the only commendations I've been dealing with are Planetary and Warzone. However, it seems like there's a lot more to level 50+ content than that. Anyway, can anyone explain to me how things work at level 50+, or point me to a guide? Also, this is my first serious mmo, and I've never raided before. What is involved with getting into Operations? How long do they take? Can I use the group finder for them like Flashpoints, or do I need to be in a guild to do them? Thanks!

Just wondering if chapter 2 and chapter 3 take about as much playtime to complete as chapter 1. Chapter 1 was significantly longer than the prologue, so I was wondering if each successive chapter takes longer to complete.

I have Vette at full affection (10000) and I just completed the Star of Ryloth mission for her. However, she doesn't have another conversation option right now. I am level 29 - do I have to be a higher level to trigger the next conversation?

I'm new to mmos, and have a few questions. 1. If I'm in a group and I loot a monster we all killed, am I stealing from my teammates, or do we get our own drops? 2. Does an area level me down if I'm too high level? For instance, if I'm level 50 and go back to my starting planet, do my stats stay the same or does the area drop me down so that I'm not just face rolling everything? 3. What is the point of a guild (since usually you can find groups to play with in general chat)? 4. If you are interested in joining a guild, how do you find one that is a good fit for you? Well, it's likely you should have more than just heroic quests - look around for quest givers or open up your quest log to see how to continue your class story. If you do want to do the heroic quests, just post in general chat that you are looking for a group for that quest. I've never belonged to a guild and I've never had trouble finding a group to do heroic quests with by just posting in general chat.

If I don't make choices that are always light side or always dark side, will I be penalized in the endgame? Is it better to choose a side and align with it?

So no fix for this then? If so, I'm cool with that - I'm sure that they'll fix it eventually, but just wondered if there was a way to jerry-rig a fix in the meantime. Anyway, thanks for the help.
