KOTET Chapter 4
Where Dreams Die
In the 10 years that I've been playing this game, I've never had a mission make me want to quit and uninstall until now. Expecting players to do this with quest gear, low influence companion and a nerfed class in a story mode that's tuned like a master mode is beyond ridiculous.
This is the worst scaling and tuning I've ever seen in SWTOR.
EDIT: I finally got past it with my KOTFE quest gear and an influence level 2 Vette. It was a pain in the neck instead of being fun and rewarding.

these 16 chapters were a slog
took too long to mow through enemies
stealth worked here and there but not as well as it should
forced companions is still a terrible system due to influence levels
enemy damage tuning is all over the place
some elites are easy and others hit like bosses
Overwatch Hunters (end of chapter 10), GEMINI Captain (replicant phase) and Arcann (force balls in final phase) have overtuned damage values

*A cleanse skill that handles all types of debuffs would be handy.
*Picked up my first defensive skill (Deflection) at level 39. I'd rather see this skill bestowed in the 20s, if not sooner.
*Clairvoyant Strike (level 39) has made combat even faster and more fun.

I remember registering here as soon as I saw the announcement at E3 in 2008. This game was a must play and everyone in my Lord of the Rings Online kinship wanted to move here to play it. I was lucky enough to get selected for the closed beta in July 2011 and played on the Revan test server. I will never forget when I hit play the first time after creating my Jedi Sentinel. I loved every minute of my testing time and managed to play KOTOR between test phases so I could get more backstory. I've been here off and on since 2008 and have no plans of ever leaving entirely.
My two fondest memories are the following:
1)Getting farmed by the Imperials at the Republic base in Ilum. There's a plaque there now to commemorate our suffering while Imperial players farmed the turrets to build standing for PVP boxes.
2)We were in Eternity Vault and one of our healers started to fall when the platform collapsed during the Soa fight. I was on my Sorcerer at the time and managed to extricate her out of mid air. Voice chat went nuts and we went on to finish the fight.

Came here looking for exactly this. Nice. 100% those "tabs" need to have borders and highlights to indicate that they're buttons. Thanks!
I want to echo this sentiment as well. Conquest Objectives and Season Objectives need to look like actual tabs and stand out more.

BioWare is already playing with the idea of starting a character from the beginning of the game at level 70.
Why not give everyone their abilities at the beginning, and exchange leveling for the CXP Grind from the very beginning?
I'd go for that.

I was completely blown away by the announcement trailer at E3 (was during the E3 split so there were two shows). I registered here as soon as they mentioned the site at the end of the presentation. My LOTRO guild was psyched about moving over here but we disbanded before that happened. Ironically, most of us ended up playing SWTOR anyway, just on different servers.

overall these 9 chapters were decently paced but you can tell parts were cut or condensed

forced companions is still a terrible system due to influence levels
enemy damage tuning is all over the place
some enemies are easy and others hit like bosses
Tomb Horror Tentacles (chapter 2), Purifier Droids (chapter 4), and Vaylin's Spirit (chapter 9) have way overtuned damage values
walker missions on Voss, Iokath, and Odessen are well tuned
