I love my smuggler but that is pretty close. So, I decided to go light side with my smuggler and play along with the side quests. I didn't want to miss them but they do not have a smuggler feeling at all. At least most of them. To me they feel more along a mercinary line.

Before release they said there would be no day/night cycle, just like no holiday special events.

I already turned off shadows too, as did others. It didn't help me. I tried some other things with Windows 7 optimizations as well which did improve it some, but still get problems. Ah well, here is to hoping they can find something.

Nice list. I would like to add bad FPS in certain areas, especially indoors, almost to the point of unplayability. Thing is, it seems to correct itself sometimes and is fine for a while, then a little later is bad again. Not sure what the issue is, but it is happening even to people with great boxes. Mine is not that great but is good, was great a couple years ago, so maybe I can see the reasoning on mine. However, with others that have i7s, 8G mem, latest video cards, SSDs, etc. getting the same problems, (I realize others are perfectly fine), there seems to be a problem in this area.

From reading posts before release a lot of people canceled their CEs due to misinformation, misunderstanding, and lack of information. So I wonder how many are left over due to that?

Well, all I can say is that is why different games are made. Not everyone will like the same things. Hope you find one that is truly to your liking someday.

Yes, I read it, but I read the original and hit reply to your last one. Why don't you be less critical and not assume so much. Also, you said the idea of a barrier like in PvP makes a penalty. I didn't know what that meant anyway as I have not done PvP. You assume too much if you think everyone knows everything about the game just because you know it.

Well, I have to disagree and say it needs to be this way. This helps prevent someone from dying and immediately getting back in the action. A penalty of sorts to make sure you cannot help the battle that is currently going on, at least not right away. The only way to fix it while still being in the FP would be to change the design to make you wait.

That is the issue I had, outside I am always fine. Inside places it lags sometimes, but not always. I can start the day with no lag and towards the end of the day it lags in certain buildings, even ones that are instanced only for me. My computer is not the greatest, but higher than min specs for sure and it runs great for most of the day. However, like I said, I never lag outside.

Heh, I was at those too, excluding SWG. EnB was terrible, crashing, hangs, and bad performance. It got better. I still have the beta tshirt. WoW had many problems too with crashes and queues. Even a year into the game it was standard to have a long queue wait to get into the original servers. I would have to log on when I got home and go eat then check status. If you were truly there, you should know this.

The EU servers are just as full during their peak hours too. I have seen it this way in the mornings, so we are all in the same boat during peak times. However, I play all day at the moment since I am on vacation and the US servers are very light in the morning.
