  1. Is it actually good? Could you explain why?

I'll be honest, that's one of those products I looked at and said "they just labeled it gaming with a reskin and upped the price". Gaming mice and keyboards are a real thing, I was under the impression that the mouse pads were just advertising.

See my post earlyer in the topic why i think this is a good mouse pad and worth the money.

It did used to be like that a few years ago, when there were just regular mouse pads, with a company logo slapped ontop of it, but that's not the case anymore these days.

  2. Meaningless. The only ones who care about server first crap are epeen'ers.

raid and server competitions? Oh right, you think you're playing WoW.

Just for the record...casuals and rpers make up the vast majority of the people that care about this MMO. Which is why so much of the vocal minority that are raging are standard MMO players.

The rest of us understand what Bioware is doing. ANd yes, while it's frustrating (I'm not in yet myself) I understand why they're doing it this way.

I wanted to reply to this guy, but you pretty much summed up already what i wanted to say.

I don't think people realize that the so called "hard-core" people, are a minority.

I've experienced some "server first" boss kills, but i never really cared for it.

Actually, one of the main things i stopped with WoW is because this entire way of thinking that it actually matters. which in the end, it really does not.

  3. I use it in combination with a Naga Epic, and it really is a nice and great mouse mat.

It has 2 sides which you can easily just flip over, one is for speed (which is a very smooth side)

And the other side is for control, which is a little grainy, i personally prefer that side myself.

It has a pretty big surface, and it has a good feel to it, i definitely would recommend it.

It also has a silicon wrist rest.

The silicon wrist rest has a sheet of silicon attached to it, where the "plate" basically rests on, this assures that it will not slip at all.

And the pad itself has a very solid feel to it, it's very durable. so definitely worth the money.

  4. Its not whether people will care or not in a month or two, its that people know that right now memories they could be making in game are not happening and that in a month or two if someone asks them how was launch instead of saying oh yeah it was a lot of fun, me and my friends quested together and did all this fun stuff they will say that oh yeah i didn't get in at first and I had to level up by myself to 50.

I understand it is somewhat a bummer not to be able to start with your friends.

Though not everyone has people to play with.

However, as a Guild Master, i do have a slight annoyance of not being able to get in yet, after all my "troops" went to "war" without me.

But i guess i am patient and have enough toleration to not let it bother me that much.

  5. While i know there are numerous topics regarding the "issue" of people getting in sooner then others.

I would like to ask people:

Did you think about this on a long-term?

Did you ever stop and thought, oh in a month or 2 month's time, this actually will not make any difference at all?

Sure you might notice it the first couple of weeks, but on a long-term i believe this will not have any impact on the game or you whatsoever.

What do you people think about this?

Did you actually think about this at all?

  6. Someone on another forum I frequent just posted this...

    Just thought I would share.

They are basing everything on the VGcharts, which does not include digital copies, and both boxed and digital copies from the EU, Asia, Australia, Canada, etc.

Which already makes whatever they are saying invalid.

Ontop of that, BioWare stated that all the waves today had the same size.

Americans are not the only people on the planet.

  7. So is Stephen Reid the 'Ghostcrawler' of SWTOR? I see alot of people hating on him for some reason?

Just chillax, we're not even up to the original official 'early access' date yet. It'll get here. 2 days isn't going to kill your toon.

Actually, he's probably the most talkative Community Helper i've seen in my MMO gaming history, which is § 10 years now.

He´s doing a good job to provide us with info, but people need to realize he´s not a robot.

He can only do so much, and all he can do is give us the info he is given, he´s not a dev you know.
