  1. That is what makes EVE unique. I have been in these kind of fights in EVE, both in sub capital ship and in capital ship. You can't just jump into the biggest ship and hope to kill everyone. No. Fights in require you to think. It's like chess, sacrifice your pawns to let your Knight take out their Queen. Send in your tacklers (CC them) on their support ships, warp to zero on them and then kill their support ships. Tackle their capital ships, send in your capital ships, kill their capital ships, tackle their Super Capital ships, but here. Here it gets exciting. The more you put on the table, the chance of a greater loss you can have. Do you send in your Super Capital Ships or do you stick with capital ships? Since there are alliances in EVE, the group of people you fight in one system, can be the bait, for another group of their Super Capital ships. So was their Super Capital ships only a bait? probably. Fight escalates. First time in PvP for me, an adrenaline rush. Not like PvP in swtor. You know that you could lose your ship and money wise it can cost you a lot or little. You can PvP in a frigate (which is the smallest and cheapest kind of ships in EVE).
  2. Red Eclipse has lagspikes to. Just had a WZ and got booted out from it onto the fleet.
  3. If your characters are lvl 50 and you have the pvp weekly, abandon it. I completed the pvp weekly, where you have to win 9 rounds. Some people have suggested that it might be the cause of people, not being able to get the pvp weekly post-2.0.
  4. Dude, that's one bad necro you did. The OP is from December 2011, last post is from January
  5. Someone suggested to run around in circles, around the droid and activate the turrets and generators. The ads will follow you and get killed by the driods own weapon. And bringing friends into the mission, makes that mission harder, since it scales with how many people that are in the instance. So more people, more ads. Easier to kill him yourself.
  6. It is all about playing smart. You don't stand still, you move. With the 2.0 changes mercs can survive far longer than they could before 2.0. Against a sniper or a gunslinger, use line of sight. Is there a pillar? go behind that pillar. If a sin or shadown takes you by surprise, use stun, pop Hydrolic (sp) Override, shields, move away. While you do that, shot dart missile, electro net, heatseekers, burn him down. And don't forget you have Kolto missile now. Spam heals, use warzone medpack, adrenal. You will be surprised that some ppl think that Merc is still a free kill. They are not. With electro net you can kite your attacker and burn him down.
  7. Just came off Alderaan and had some yellow mist in the distance. But it looks exactly like yours in the video. Looks like Fog ofWar, just in some odd way. Don't know if it is a driver issue, because it came right after I installed the new Nvidia drivers.
  8. Dude, look at the date when the OP posted the thread.
  9. The Chanlon Onslaught Chestguard has no backpack, well a little one, but not as huge as the one on the lvl 40 pvp set. It also looks good and combined with decent looking leg piece, it almost look like the trooper outfit from the Hope cinematic trailer.
  10. No mention of balancing classes (Smash, commando, Merc). I love my commando, that class could use some improvements. I hope you put fixing bugs, above adding content. I love swtor, but you really need to listen to your playerbase. Though, looking forward to the digital expansion and all the things you are going to do with swtor.
  11. No, they get clerical jobs inside the Jedi order.
  12. Yes, annoying bug. But you can reach the datacrons, by having someone with forcepush helping you.
  13. Not really that common. But happens that one of the servers or more of them, get a bit of lagspikes and then crashes. Have patience young one!
