  1. Thanks TUXs. Shame they haven't changed that. Going to be the deciding issue for me and the rest. Appreciate the heads up. Ajow
  2. Thank you Darevsool - that's the kind of details I was looking for. Much Appreciated! Ajow
  3. Yeah. May have been greater that two-thirds actually. reading the patch notes is meaningless without real player experience to tell us if they are equally valueless. hence my post. No? nice to see they lowered the conquest tier - i guess that's meaningful...super. I was referring to the number of repeatable versus, non-repeatable, versus one character only quests for conquest credit. You know...the changes that made running multiple alts worthless. never expected any magic given the dev team involved. was simply hopeful.
  4. Founder who maintained a continuous subscription since beta was wondering if the Conquest changes made in 5.8a and doubled down on in 5.9 which killed the game for me (and I cancelled my subscription), including two-thirds of my guild are still alive and well? Wanted to hear from the community on this before I told the guildies who left with me that they "heard" their community and fixed that broken mess. If its still lousy? Any suggestions you can make, to make it palatable would be appreciated, and I'll pass that along. Thanks all - Ajow
  5. Super - Simply more time for Subscribers to give up on you and this game! The broken Conquest implementation is just indicative of the general poor state of development (or the lack thereof) going on over there. Yeah! Please put it off until you actually FIX something!. Oh yeah! Playing as a Tank is just about void of fun! Between that and the Conquest debacle you just about screwed everything up... Oh! My bad! Cartel market looks great. Horrible! What this has turned into.
  6. PennyAnn...well said. I don't think they care or are listening. What other reason could there be? I've gone along with the bugs and bad content and took my medicine and (for the most part) kept my mouth shut. Founding Subscriber...here. Which is why I don't get it. I mean this thread is full of great Subscriber feedback. But we are getting nothing...no feedback...no anything. So Team, its...suck it up and play the game the way we (bioware) want you to or LEAVE! Guys & gals....they just don't care. Well, I'm finally paying attention and I hear you bioware. Two minutes ago I gave them additional feedback Your subscription has been cancelled. Good luck and God speed to all of you. Been fun
  7. You Sir most definitely got jacked! We all did...but for the windbag apologists out there (must be related to the dipsticks in charge who ruined our game!) Hurting the Game? No Sir, not anymore. Why? Your statement suggests the patient isn't terminal. I submit that the patient (SWTOR) is not only terminal, but brain dead! we are just waiting for some to pronounce the last server.....abandoned ! And therefore, DEAD! Their little roadmap is a insult on us all. The biggest joke is that any of these idiots in charge are allowed to use the word developer! Horrible!
  8. Completely Disagree! another tor lacky without any imagination or original thought! Your Dismissed! Conquest as constituted is a complete and utter disaster! Conquest as constituted neither expands the game, nor the base. If by design or otherwise. So, lets assume that the dipsticks making the decisions actually wanted to "improve" the player experience, well then by god they whiffed completely and should simply rollback the update....apologize and admit their mistake and we would all be happy to simply move on. even the "newly" designed Mission Log is horrible.... And the recent re-do to improve it...so you could then monitor peoples reaction? Translated: We decided to compound our failure and you (Users) are our new petri dish to see just how pi**ed off we can make you before you actually unsubscribe and stop caring! How's that working out for you? Populations Down. Subscribers Down! Ops ques NEVER pop. Forget PvP ques. well done ding dongs! well done! EPIC FAIL FAIL FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I couldn't agree more! (here is where reading the fine print makes sense - to your point, which is exceedingly pointless and usually is. You do however, always seem to make a great apologist for the indefensible) So I understand what your saying -- In the 5.4 Patch Notes, which contained, Five Thousand Two Hundred and Eleven Characters, or, Eighty-Two paragraphs, or, One Hundred Thirty-Six Lines, there was clearly not enough room for: "Please note: to add your very own "Umbara Mobile Base", if you currently have 6 active strongholds you will need to delete one to gain access.", would have made no sense at all! As a matter of fact: Adding that simple line would have created an extra 118 characters. No way according to you! More-so it what would have been very unreasonable to even consider adding those extra 118 inconsequential characters. That's what your saying. Nope, not material at all having to delete a stronghold to gain access to the train. FAIL! MAJOR FAIL! Pure & Simple: They (SWTOR) had a responsibility to notice us right up front that we would have to delete one of our strongholds, if you currently had 6, in order to add the new "train". I for one would like to have had the information in-hand so I could have made an informed decision, as to: A. not run the content repeatedly (which I did) to accumulate 60 token for something I couldn't use, or, B. decide up front which, if any, stronghold I was willing to delete to gain access to the train. By not providing such information in the Patch notes we as a community were simply set up....again. Yeah, I'll bet the servers were full on launch day. And that of course looks good on the "% of Users accessing umbara" for their superiors. But had we been given accurate information on having to delete one of our strongholds in order to add the "umbara mobile base", I for one would have simple elected not to run the content repeatedly (hence lowering the % of Users accessing that useless content) to gain tokens for something I have no use for. oh, yeah I need more legacy gear... Yep - read the fine print community and parse every line for comma's, semicolons, half meanings and more half-truths - Why would anyone in their right mind not believe that the new stronghold could be added without having to delete one of your exiting strongholds that many of us spent days setting up? Hey maybe we would have simply gone and picked up all the deco's and deleted a stronghold we paid all those credits to unlock - but, maybe not! And that's where SWTOR had a responsibility to alert the Community. Not sure whats worse - the implementation or someone defending it?
  10. Hello Eric, Hope the team is well. Scanned the 5.4 patch notes and didn't see a "fix" for my broken Conquest Log and was wondering if that fix will take place in the patch on August 23, 2017. Factually, CS stated that my broken Conquest Log is a "known bug" (I cannot find this stated anywhere), and that this 'bug' is scheduled to be fixed in a "later patch". After 33 months paying Subscription Fees can I expect to continue waiting while paying for the "privilege" of playing with a "Known Bug"? Raytal
  11. My Conquest Log has been broken since December 2014, preventing me from gaining Conquest point for Crafting: Invasion Force. My "Repeatably" Mission is anything but repeatable. Clearly this leaves me at a sever disadvantage for Crafting Bonus's or Guild Contests. Since, my Conquest went broken, I have paid $493 in Subscriber Fees. I am a Founding Subscriber, not that that should make a difference. I'm not calling anyone out, I'm simply asking for help. Link to screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qvs4dxhf2kthbcg/raytal%20conquest%20log%20081417-0815_circled.png?dl=0 During crafting weeks where the ability to Craft: Invasion Force Supplies grants 2000 Conquest Points per, Plus Stronghold Bonus (I'm at 150%) gives you the ability to not only assist your guild to make the Leaderboard but even win if you have enough committed crafters - I simply have to make excuses to my Guildmates that my Conquest log is broken - that is getting very old. For 33 months my Conquest Log has been broken can someone please help me to get this fixed? And, Yes! I have logged a bug report on this matter multiple times and never hear back - frankly I never hear anything - except CS telling me its a known Bug (not listed anywhere I can find) and that it will be patched in a 'later fix' (MONTH 33) - then warning me if I ask for help again I'm in violation of the TOS? Really? For asking for help? Come'on someone on the dev team can help me here - Please. Raytal
  12. Did exactly that! And here was the response, I edited out the CS name (as not to embarrass) - And yes I received my Awards. No I was not warned - likely because I included Mr. Musco's directive or maybe not - ******************************** Greetings Xxxxx, Thank you for contacting us this is Xxxxx from Star Wars ™: The Old Republic™ Customer Service. I am pleased to inform you that your missing Conquest Rewards has been successfully restored. When you login to Shadowlands for the next time you will see your Conquest rewards already. I hope it helps you a lot. If you have other concern don't hesitate to contact us again. We do apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused you. Due to glitch in our system, the Conquest rewards did not manually added on your account . Therefore, we manually granted the conquest rewards on your character Xxxxxxx,Xxxxxx and Xxxxx. Thank you for your patience and understanding during the restoration process.Should you require further assistance with this or any other issue, please do not hesitate to contact us again. We would appreciate it if you could take the time to fill out a short survey about your most recent support experience with us. Please click here to begin: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx Regards, Xxxxx Star Wars ™: The Old Republic™ Customer Service. ******************************* My add on to the Customer Service Survey I was 'happy' to accommodate the request to complete a survey - quickly, at the end of the survey when asked what could be done to offer better Customer Support I offed the following - maybe the community should get together and offer ...say a top 10 .. for Customer Service - please feel free to add.. Guild Conquest Rewards. 1. Admit immediately when you have a problem. You put your CS reps in a very bad position - you gave them bad information and they in turn used that bad information to alienate nearly every gamer I know - certainly everyone in my effected guild. 2. Train your CS to actually provide support - not deny deny deny. How about - "I don't have the answer but I will look deeper into your issue it and get back to you". versus "you (the paying customer) are wrong and I'm simply going to Close your ticket". Horrible SOP - simply dreadful! 3. Actually solve problems so that we as players are not FORCED to resubmit tickets on issues that had NOT been SOLVED! You create your own problems when you Close Tickets without solving the problem, forcing your paying customers into...what must appear as SPAMMING CS. No we are not spamming CS we are actually looking for Customer Support in the real sense. 4. Why oh Why did this take nearly 4 weeks to solve? And nearly 100 posts on the issue over three threads? Please enlighten me. 5. Stop! Oh Please Stop warning people they are violating the TOS when all they are looking for is good Customer Service. You Close tickets arbitrarily and then wonder why John Q Paying Customer Resubmits a Ticket. That is so infuriating (TOS Warnings) I nearly blew a gasket when one of our Guild Council Members who we tasked with “running down the problem” for the Guild, as not to have 60 people flood your CS inbox, was warned that his “tickets’ were violating the TOS. Next time…we will simply post on our website that every effected toon should submit a CS ticket. I promise on that one. 6. Ok - so we all know good reliable servers are so very cheap that outages and data packet loss is either simple incompetence or poor management, so, which one is it? If you need a lesson on redundancy, I am happy to hook you up with my IT guy - yep 1 dedicated guy running our complete server and backup que's for a company of 126 employees - and guess what? We have server crash's, of course, but we have never, never lost data - and yes I'm talking real-time. Come’on - get it together. Put in the proper SOP and be done with it. 7. Why is the Conquest Reward data stored separately from other Achievements and Rewards? This is counterintuitive. Maybe you would have learned a lesson from the PvP Season awards when that went fubar – but I see that is not the case. 8. And finally - Spell-check for CS. Misspelling and poor grammar make it even more likely to enrage a paying customer that receives bad customer service or no customer service at all. Which is what we received during this Conquest fiasco. Poor or no Customer Service coupled with poor grammar and misspellings compounded a bad situation – I know…ticky-tacky, but you asked. Signed, One Founding (paying subscriber fees since inception), Subscription Paying Customers advice.
  13. I am going to add verbatim Eric's directive. Maybe... just maybe... the right hand should speak to the left hand. Whose hand is on the tiller over there? This could be a case study in how to disenchant a whole community of "paying" Customers.
  14. Received the same run-around by CS on the Shadowlands Server, for the same dates in question. They actually told one of our Guild Council members that they were going to ban him for violating the TOC over the issue, but gave him no specific reason for such a warning. And no trolls he was acting like a gentleman in his correspondence. we all have been. We finished 4th on the leaderboard and had better than 60 eligible guildies gtg for Guild Conquest Rewards. NOPE! No one received their Guild Conquest Rewards until they started to contact CS - Some then received them. 6 people to be exact, but NOT on all their eligible toons. Now this action began to give us all hope that it was being sorted. Remember gang this all happened after the "lokath" "one-choice" conquest week (the royal 'screw you' to the community and smaller guilds). So the genius behind that decision we thought likely created this mess, which we are paying for...again. But I digress. So I logged a ticket ...once...twice... and was finally told that we (as a guild) did not accomplish Conquest and therefore we were not eligible....a screenshot later and Whoops! There we were, in 4th place, as we had been saying all along! So YES we were eligible! NOPE! Now we were all simply liers and created forgeries. Yep! Made up the screenshot! Mind you, these are veteran players many of whom are Founding Subscribers been paying subscription fees since inception, me included. Why would we ever do that? But! Now we have ALL been branded lairs! I can only surmise that our Guild Council member was threatened because we (et el) somehow "created" the screenshot that had us in 4th place. Here is where it gets good and maybe....just maybe ...you have not heard this one yet? So its true that our screenshot was correct! Yep, True True True! BUT. The leaderboard was incorrect! Yes you heard that right. The leaderboard was inaccurate due to the two server crash's that happened during the week. Yes they had server crashs - happens...Cool and move on. Right?! yes. Right...move on stuff happens...next. BUT! You see SWTOR you made my whole Guild feel like we were thieves, liers and cons artists, when it was your problem that you didn't have the guts to come out and own! One simple post would have fixed all of this. We as a community generally support you, and factually, pay you for the privileged of YOU working on SWTOR. What you owe us is simple honesty - I gave up on a bug free game long ago! Why not come out and say - For instance...."Hey guys & gals, the server crash's corrupted the Conquest database that we have stored separately (why you do that is beyond me) from the rest of the achievements and we lost the data and are therefor going to invalidate the Conquest week.....To make up for that please find another droid in your mailbox - named 2BadforU (yeah, we'd all like another droid). You get my point. So we spent nearly two weeks fighting to get our Guild Conquest Rewards and you (SWTOR management) already knew and sent over fubar Leaderboard Stats to CS and told them to deal with the fallout. Shame on you! Your mess and you don't have the stones to stand up - pathetic! I want to apologize to Phil, Robert and the rest of the team in CS who got put in an untenable position. My guild has decided not to focus any effort on Conquest - if it comes to us for doing what we do...fine. But to push and set goals and fight to get and stay on the leaderboard is a thing of the past. Thanks SWTOR. 15. Thank you Icestar. I wish it was something I did. That way I could have asked CS to restore it or something to that effect. Maybe useless but at least I would have myself to blame. Its maddening not being able to get a simple reply thou - I agree with you there. Afraid to buy another one for fear that the same thing would happen. I was truly excited to buy that piece of equipment. I guess the Dev team forgot that some of us actually "look forward" to getting gear installed after we've grind-ed out all those hard to get Ultimate comms only to have it bug out. Thanks for your well wish's -- shame that all we seem to have -- good game when all is working . I'm a bit of a dog on a bone at this point - tired of being told by CS on nearly every issue that its is a 'bug within the game' and they can't help me and I need to report it as such -- but " while I'm on the line would I like to make another monthly payment"? Yeah -- Starting to get old!
  16. Like Customer Service stated - "Thank you for contacting us about the issue you encountered. This particular case appears to have been caused by a bug within the game that will need to be corrected in a future game update and as such, cannot be corrected by Customer Service." I am not trying to get anything free or run an exploit or anything of that nature. That would be silly and easily found out by reviewing my log as CS did. I understand "my" issue is being caused by a "bug within the game" (not sure if you saw their response), so I highlighted it. Just simply looking for an update from any one of the Dev's on this, according to Customer Service known "bug within the game". Was hoping that a Dev would respond to my ticket number 16231317 But your response was appreciated
  17. Please see the below response from Customer Service. My off-hand is still indeed displaying the incorrect stats. Customer Service investigated the issue and said it was a "bug within the game". May I have an update as to when it may be addressed? Thank you. 18. Posting original reply from Customer Service so the tolls will die horrible deaths and let legitimate players receive assistance from veteran gamers and members of the community for issues and not have to put up with the likes of the idiots who posted on my thread. 19. Posted in-game but the CS said that it is a bug and I need to report this issue to you on the Bug Reports Please fix my [Deceiver Mender's MK-1 Shotgun [Augmented]], it is saying my barrel is 186. I grind my butt of to get the gear the right way at least it should give me the stat i "paid" for! Subscriber since beta! have a look. Oh and while your at it please look at my conquest log...its saying that my Invasion Force crafting is complete..."WRONG" been broken for two months and i can't even get a reply. this is all wrong treating a paying customer this way!
  20. Ok..../sigh. For the love of God...Please help here. I to the unsubscribe stage here. Invasion Force says completed...I did not complete it! 10th week it has been this way -- Tragic!
  21. Draqsko, thank you. Yeah, I know that. I just wish it was so! My log is broken, has been for months. Response from Customer Service: Greetings Raytal, Thank you for contacting us about the issue you encountered. I am Raith from Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ in-game support and I have reviewed your report of the ‘War Supplies: Invasion Force’ personal Conquest objective. I can see this objective is indeed displaying as completed on your characters and I can confirm was last completed on December 25th and 26th. It is with sincerity I can only relay what has been returned to your in your previous reports on this matter, that we cannot correct this at the current time. Even with confirming your observations this particular case appears to have been caused by a bug within the game that will need to be corrected in a future game update and as such, cannot be corrected by Customer Service. This is by no means a rejection to assist you – the in-game support team do not have the facilities to address this game mechanic which is why you have been previously advised to submit this as a bug. As mentioned, bug reports submitted though the In-Game Help Center go directly to our development QA team and not to Customer Service. This will ensure your reports are received by the appropriate department. 22. Hello Tait -- good info. I like the preliminary release Notes idea. On a side note: my (and I assume others) Conquest log is broken as it relates to Invasion Force supplies. Says completed when it is not. It has been that way for me for two months now. So I am unable to craft Invasion Force Supplies for Conquest Points. Please see: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=794854 Is there any chance for some love in Game Update 3.1? I read the Patch notes and it mentioned additional fixes....could the broken Conquest log be one of them? I appreciate any update. Thank you.
