TL;DR sorry guys
I just want some clarifications
QUESTION:
Example. I have a Force-Master Rakata Glove, swapped its alac mod with a pow/surge combo. Then before 1.2 goes live, I switched it back to an original one. You said that if we return it back to its original mods BEFORE 1.2, it will be upgraded right?
What if I have deleted/stacked the old mod and bought an EXACT same one, then put it in so it will be a alac pow again. Will it still be upgraded?

It sounds pretty much like what I'd expected. Slow healing, single-target focussed - and that when you need to heal across multiple targets, we're too slow and don't have enough GCDs to really cope with it.
I'm assuming you didn't really even try to add in utility like stuns, interrupts etc given the lack of time that you've described? I'd be interested to know whether you were able to sprinkle some bubbles around the group when needed, perhaps in those PuG tests? And if you did try to do that, were you able to combine them with some healing, even just on the tank?
For me, I enjoyed playing Sage/Sorc because they're tool-box healers, flexible and able to react to developing situations. It looks to me like what I enjoy about the class is likely to disappear - the fun is being leeched out of it.
Maybe things will change some before this goes live.

Welcome to operative and merc world... Sadly you are no more Such Overpowered... And sure it will take time to adapt, but at this point we will see who where good and bad healers...

-No utility ! (because they gave all to sorcerer, and we couldn't have 4 classes the same(sorc/sage, i.a/smugg) so ... they just gave nothing to i.a/smugg)
But, you qq'ers can stop... because you have stealth !!!

That's not quite true, Shroud...
With near identical base heals and coefficients:
Salvation
Average Base Heal: 134.615
Coefficient: 0.376
Kolto Cloud
Average Base Heal 132.032
Coefficient 0.386
Salv and KC heal for ~the same per tick, so in the 3s you are waiting for KC to tick, Salv will heal for ~3x, not double.
Of course, that just makes your point stronger...

also there isn't any "stealth" healer.
you cant heal in stealth
if you do incombat stealth you cant heal for 10secs period
you gain 0 benefits for stealth in pve in healing
also, i like my operative, its a new system, i want it to work. atm though i have 1/2of the tools i need to do an equal job as a healer.
you want stealth healer? put some actual stealth healing talents like:
for 10secs after leaving stealth you have +x healing
cloaking screen: remove the stupid 10sec heal debuff and instead put a bonus on it through talents
being in stealth generats TAs
targetted incombat cloaking screens for others, (similar to friendly pull only worse since they will still be hitted by the aoe they stand in)
etc
etc

They should have spend the same amount of time on the operative as they do for the sorcerer... atm all we have is an half-completed classe... which isn't appealing.....

i still enjoy my op healer. and yes there are many situations he is not as useful as a sorc.
but ive learned to use her in 4,8,16 mans to the fullest.
adjustments to make life easier though i would. ( just musings not all of them implemented but individually thing i think would help)
reduce the cost of KP slightly and have 3-4 stack.
3-4 tactical advantages and possibly a new TA based spell( say 5-7 over say 15 seconds)k but requiring 2 TA's
perhaps a slightly larger energy pool.
medical scan to restore more energy per tick.
or perhaps a slight increase to the base healing given. that will multiply with crit and surge.
these are just small changes that ive thought of

Have they even PLAYED the Scoundrel/Operative class? Of course I CAN clear content. The problem is that I can clear it more easily and effectively AS A SAGE! I'm so angry right now.
They seem to think that ONE operation is giving us trouble. How about THE ENTIRE DAMN GAME being more challenging for a Scoundrel. I need to take a break. I'm about to scream.

At least they're doing something about Kolto Cloud. The fact that they seem to think, "Oh, Operatives/Scoundrels are fine" is pissing me off, though.

@Subrosian : I totally agree with your posts in general.
I have benched my Op Med and am leveling a Merc (Can't stand the Sorc and they WILL be nerfed, unless BW really do not know what they are doing). I really love my Op Med though, and all I really want is SOME kind of dev response indicating at minimum that they are aware of the problems and have some kind of plan.
I have the feeling i'll win a lotery ticket before any developper answer our question....

I would like my operative to be a competitive healer... for those who say that they heal just as good as sorcerer... Have you tried one ? seriously there is nothing to compare.... Racing in lada vs a ferrari...

what planet do you live on? I'm at least top 10 in the best healers on empire for my server
nice you have 10 healers on the servers ? and you're not doing hm/nm ops, because you would realise how bad we are, i dont say we total scrap but the best operatives will be mediocre compared to normal sorcerers.... thats the point

I also have some issues with stealth, quite often when I vanish out of combat at least my companion is still going to die (he is shown to me as in stealth too, but mobs still attacking him) and when s/he dies they turn to me if I didn't exited the instance or run out of their movement radius. Does not always happen, but often enough to be annoying.

Please understand that comparing damage between classes at an arbitrary level (16) is not going to yield any useful insight into power differences between classes.
O-M-F-G MAYBE NOT AT LVL 16, BUT I CAN CLEARLY COMPARE AT LVL 50 AN OPERATIVE AGAINST ANY OTHER CLASS (DPS/HEALING) AND WE ARE WAY UNDER !!!!!!!!!! Hey,
After developers make a post, it can take a while for it to show up in the thread at the point it was made. This is a known side effect of the communications pipeline (e.g. to allow the foreign language community reps to provide translations / updates to our international community for relevant topics), not some malicious way of us manipulating the past.

So did everyone miss the response 4 days ago saying they were aware of the issue and were fixing it in this very thread or do you just like complaining?
Show me where, been 2 months they replied my ticket saying this as been shown to the developpers, so far they don't care... so yeah we keep whining....
