  1. Care to elaborate? Which suggestions do you disagree with? Do you have any suggestions of your own?
  2. Here is my list of major problems with the game and things that need to be fixed, I'm most likely quitting at this point, but I will return in the future for expansions and what not if things improve: 1. The game is too easy and casual. Eternity Vault and Karagga's Palace were a joke in terms of difficulty, I've had "The Infernal" title for like 3 and a half months now and you've taken too long to release content. 2. There is no incentive to achieve or obtain anything. I was also one of the first Battlemasters on my server, Daragon Trail. I hit rank 60 a couple weeks before Illum was changed to give valor. Shortly afterwards, a ton of people were able to hit rank 60 much easier because of the Illum changes (the first day especially when people zerged and camped the other's base). I was a bit upset about this, but I still kept playing, then more recently you changed it so that you basically got 3 times as much valor per game and I saw tons of people who rarely even made an effort to pvp hit Battlemaster. Doing this pretty much just spits on anyone who got Battlemaster beforehand. What's the point of working towards something if you're just going to make it ridiculously easy afterwards. I also liked when you got valor based on the amount of medals you got, it gave you the incentive to play well. Now you can be as mediocre as you want and get the same amount of valor as someone with 14 medals. I agree it was harder for healers to get medals, but you could have corrected that by simply adding more healing medals. The same can be said about PvE, I have a full set of Rakata from raiding and doing those terrible Belsavis dailies for the Implant/Ear. The content was easy but it still took work and time. With this current patch, people can get full Rakata from easy 4 man flash points, so once again, what's the incentive of working towards anything. You (Bioware) are following WoW's terrible example of having Justice badges being turned in for current gear. By doing this, they obsoleted all the previous content for the sake of casual players catching up quickly. This ruins the entire point of raiding and working towards something. 3. The new patch is too little too late. Sure the legacy system is a cool idea but it doesn't really do anything to benefit your character. There isn't much incentive to build it up when all the bonuses are cosmetic. You get new abilities to use during your heroic moment, yay... Too bad you never have your companion with you when you're doing anything remotely important. I've also heard the newest operation is quite boring and easy (4 bosses with simple mechanics and a bunch of trash mobs), and you guys still haven't released rated warzones. Better yet, it would be nice if there was some form of world pvp (Not Illum), true world pvp. Arenas where players fight each other and observing players are allowed to bet on the outcome of the match would be a fun addition as well. 4. Lack of general content. There needs to be more raids, more flashpoints, more warzones, more ship customization. I think guild cities and player housing would be nice as well. Maybe even some minigames to keep people interested like pod racing or maybe an included card game. As it stands, there isn't much to hold people's interest. 5. The PvP changes. This is more of a personal issue that most people probably aren't experiencing, I had stopped playing the game for the last month or so and have recently logged in to check out the new patch. I soon found out that all of my battlemaster gear (I have a full set) is worse than every other player's set. I had replaced the accuracy enhancements on my gear for better ones months ago, and now those old enhancements have been buffed, while my current gear hasn't been buffed at all. This basically means that a player with identical gear to mine has about 400 more expertise than I do. At first I thought, that sucks, but hey I have a bunch of Battlemaster Commendations saved up that I can spend only to find out that all of my commendations can't even be used anymore! All that time I spent riding around in Illum looting those incredibly boring armaments has been completely worthless. 6. I might return in the future for expansions, I did enjoy the leveling up and the story at first, but for now I'll be leaving. Most of my guild will be coming with me to try out other games (Not referring to them by name, I'm not trying to promote other games with this post), and I think Bioware will really need to step up their game in order to not lose any more subscriptions. As it stands, you've been losing long term interest for the sake of short term gain. It's the hardcore players that continue to play and promote an MMO. If you only appeal to the casuals, they'll just end up getting bored and will play something else anyways. - Nomed, Daragon Trail
  3. I could care less about whether people care about me quitting. I figured I may as well make a forum post to explain some of the issues (which I know a lot of people share my views) as well as offer some suggestions for improvement. It just annoys me, because this game definitely had potential, I don't like seeing it fail now after 6 months of waiting for a patch.
  4. I guess I should have expected Bioware fan boys to harass me.
  5. I'd prefer to grind and actually work for my gear opposed to just having it handed to me (and everyone else with a pulse). I probably will be back for an expansion or something in the future but I doubt it will hold my interest.
