No, no, you're correct. Those there are and available but you need Centurion commendations to purchase them and, at the moment, I'm unsure of where to get those. The lvl 50 blues on Corruscant are purchased with the normal warzone commendations that you get from any warzone. As for the blue and purple, you are able to purchase the blue piece with WZ commendations and you can upgrade your blue to the purple by owning the blue and having a pvp artifact from somewhere. All lvl 50 pvp blues are able to be upgraded to purples with higher stats. Yes I'm referring to the Voidmaster's robe. If you look at the "currency for" tab on torhead you'll see that it can be upgraded to a purple....which still, in my opinion, is not better than my lvl 40 orange seeing as how I like having absorption. After talking to a couple guildies, it seems that it is in fact broken and we tanks do not get a lvl 50 pvp tank set like the JK. Guess I'm going to have to stack WZ and MERC commendations so that when I hit 50 I'll be able to try and get Champion gear from the bags you can guy from the PVP vendor on the fleet. Sigh, need a fix for this.....

That is exactly my point. There is no Kinetic Shadow gear available. If you look on Corruscant at the PVP vendor near the Consular trainer, there are 2 blue sets....both for PVP. So do us tanks not get a PVP set or will be forced to use a DPS set until we can get champion gear. Is it sold somewhere else?

So while saving up WZ commendations to buy my lvl 50 blue PVP armor from the class pvp vendor in Corruscant, I noticed something very odd. As a Kinetic Combat tank spec Shadow, there is no gear that competes with the lvl 40 orange armor. Looking across the way at the JC pvp lvl 50 blues, they have a protection set that adds much more endurance than the lvl 40 gear but there is no equal set for the Shadow tank. There are only 2 blue sets both for DPSers. Does this make sense, since both classes are viable as tanks? Here is an example of the gear: Lvl 40 PVP orange chest piece from the Republic Fleet: +72 Endurance +41 Willpower +10 Absorption +22 Defense This a decent piece of gear as with the full set I get bolstered up to over 15K HP in warzones! So now looking at the blue chest pieces that you can get at lvl 50 from the PVP vendor in Corruscant: +70 Endurance +60 Willpower +35 Expertise +35 Power Are we really supposed to take a HP cut PLUS a a huge defense and absorption rating cut? With the +power rating it would seem this is for a DPS consular. Moving forward through the gear progression....if you upgrade the lvl 50 piece above to a purple chest piece with an artifact you get: +79 Endurance +68 Willpower +40 Expertise +40 Power Again, an epic set with BARELY more HPs than lvl 40 gear PLUS we still dont have the defense and absorption. How are we supposed to be a viable tank in PVP if we are lacking in the main stats that we need? It does get better though.... Let's take a look at the lvl 50 Champion purple chest piece bought from the fleet: +112 Endurance +64 Willpower +46 Expertise +46 Absorption +48 Accuracy Ok, awesome. Now we are back to having lots of HP and some absorption like a tank should have. So, please....am I missing something here or did the Shadow tanks just get jipped on the first set of level 50 pvp gear? Any input would be appreciated because I very well might be missing something. I would like to stay a tank spec class and be top defender but with the lvl 50 blues, I'm not seeing how that is going to be viable.
