  1. Okay, now I've been thinking that the cross-class abilities feature needs to 1) have less restrictions, such as you need to have a companion and 2) have each character have a certain limit as to which a # of cross-class abilities can be used (say about 5 - 7).

Because right now, I want my characters to have these abilities:

    1) Sith Juggernaut (Juyo Form, Annihilate, Obliterate, Shien Form, Predation, Death Field, Force Storm, Thundering Blast, Static Barrier)

    2) Commando (Snipe, Series of Shots, Ambush, Laceration, Sucker Punch)

  2. Sith Warrior - 5

    Sith Inquisitor - 4.5

    Jedi Knight - 4

Sith Warrior story was so original and intense and suspenseful, that it left me in awe...

Sith Inquisitor would've been a 5, but most of the time, I spent most of my gameplay finding artifacts. I hardly was able to find any opportunities to manipulate events and stuff like Palpatine does. I mean, I spent most of my time an apprentice and struggling against rivals, which is too much, even for a Sith!! LOL

Jedi Knight story was classic, but the ending with the Emperor could've been a bit better.

  3. Revan is not dead. He disappeared before the killing blow could be dealt. Revan deserves to be super powerful. Even as Kreia said, "Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force." The only reason Revan lost is because he was trapped in stasis for 300 years, similar to how Khem Val was trapped in stasis even longer than that and was just a warrior who consumed death.

Revan was also corrupted. That's how he came to know the location of the Foundry (We never knew that Revan found the Foundry before or during KOTOR. Not during the Mandalorian Wars. Not during the Jedi Civil War. Not during his quest to find the Sith Emperor. RIGHT when he was corrupted.) and resorted to doing what he did during the Mandalorian Wars: killing billions for the sake of destroying the Republic's enemies.

  4. In my opinion, it should really be a face-off of mirror classes. Yeah, there would be some technical difficulties, but that's not our problem.

    • The SI and JC are leading the ground assaults. Battle of wits and, eventually, the Force.

    • Havoc Squad is tearing through Imp ranks, so the IA commands a platoon of assassins to take them down.

    • The JK confronts the Emperor in his usual Jedi manner, but finds the new Wrath at the Emperor's side. Both have been expecting the JK. Epic lightsaber-play ensues.

    • Meanwhile, the Smuggler is hunting the BH for a massive stack of credits (or vice versa). Both happen to be in the midst of the battle.

Sort of the fate of the galaxy right there. It would be glorious.

Better yet, like the Battle of Ilum, the classes should first PVP like mad before the story factor kicks in.

  5. But here are some things based on other story elements that need to happen:

-Light Sith turning away from the Empire

-The Sith Emperor's immortality needs to be reversed

-Parts of the Sith Empire need to know the Emperor's plot, then break away ((As much as the citizens idolize the Sith Emperor, they also fear him. This along with their fear of the Emperor should all be motive to break away.))

-The Sith Emperor needs to have another body, so that way his true strength returns ((Just like Voldemort from "Harry Potter", the Sith Emperor is now weak. Because of his "death", the Empire is now vengeful and chaotic, the Republic hopeful they'll win the war. But the Emperor will more likely hide until his powers return, then when he returns, another deadly war begins.))

  6. It should take place on two different locations at the same time, the two locations being Coruscant and Dromund Kaas. It should be a large war, ships getting shot down while desperately trying to land to occupy both Kaas and Coruscant. The Republic is trying to reach the Emperor on Kaas but little do they know that he is aboard a well protected ship above Coruscant preparing to

perform a ritual that will make him immortal and all powerful.

I think that all Republic playable characters should be present on Coruscant and be responsible for escorting both Satele Shan and Revan to the Emperor for a final confrontation after the Jedi have figured out a way to avoid

being mind controlled by the Emperor

    .

Those are good ideas. I have some as well:

    - It should be really 2 battles. First the Sith Empire launch a massive assault on the Republic capital of Coruscant ((reminiscent to 1) The battle of Coruscant during the Great Hyperspace War and 2) The Sacking of Coruscant)). At the same time, the Sith Emperor is preparing a ritual from several Sith Space planets that will consume all life in the galaxy. The Jedi Knight has to take part with his own fleet and army to interrupt it, therefore leading to his fight with the Sith Emperor.

-The Jedi Knight should fight the Emperor again, except both are stronger. The Jedi Knight should fight the Emperor in a way that the player can defeat him solo without companions.

    - Massive Republic and Sith Empire Fleets ((I'm talking thousands of fighters, less than 100 capital ships))

    - Imperial Dreadnaughts should use the Silencer superlasers

    - Satele has GOTTA use Battle Meditation. 1) She's the Grand Master 2) She has Bastila's blood

    - Massive ground battles

    - Missile launchers, rockets, storms of blaster fire, explosions on the ground, bombing runs, etc.

  7. How do you think the Second Great Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire should end? What planet should it take place at? How epic should it be? Should it be a silent, final one-on-one battle, OR a large war battle WITH a one-on-one battle? What should take place during the battle (ie: I say the Harrower-class dreadnaughts using the Silencers)? JUST THROW IN YOUR IDEAS!!
  8. There is a reason you don't bring Satele and the other Masters. The Emperor's real power wasn't in hurling lightning or anything, he could dominate the mind of anyone he wished. He had used this power on the Jedi Knight but the Jedi Knight had the rare ability to shrug off the Emperor's control (so did Kira actually) and because of that it was impossible for the Council to attack the Emperor. Being unable to mind dominate the Jedi Knight took away his greatest weapon.

While the Emperor was indeed very powerful he simply was not powerful enough to stop the Jedi Knight without his trump card. Thus the Emperor was defeated and it is possible that he actually did die, the jury is still out. It is very possible someone is manipulating the voices and even manipulating the Sith Warrior in the end.

True that. I mean, look at Tol Braga! He was a Jedi Council member, and yet he fell to the Sith Emperor's mind control.

Well, the Emperor was weak when he battled the Jedi Knight. He was regaining his strength, but it wasn't enough to defeat the Jedi Knight. Just like Voldemort from "Harry Potter," the Sith Emperor's immortality still left him alive, but only in spirit form. That's when he entered the Voss body as the new Voice of the Emperor, as enticed by Darth Baras. Now that the Wrath has killed the Voice's body on Voss, who knows what will happen to the Emperor now?

  9. EH, i doubt malgus is really dead either....

just like drahg in the warrior story... i mean.. he fell... big deal lol.. wouble be dumb to kill off someone on the front cover so soon.

Malgus is certainly not dead. It's already confirmed since the "Star Wars: The Old Republic: Annihilation" novel confirms this. Besides, Malgus is too awesome to die.

Draahg is already dead. He might've returned after the first duel in the station above Hoth, but he survived his burns with his strong endurance, then he died on Corellia.

  10. Revan DID NOT die!! He pushed back the Imperial strike team and surrounded himself in an impenetrable force shield before exploding into a flash of light. Besides, like Kreia said in KOTOR II, "Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force." So Revan would've more likely use Fold Space to escape, and Fold Space is a rare force power.
  11. "Im… [cough] impossible. I… I cannot be beaten. I am the Dark Lord of the Sith."

"The power of the light will always be stronger than the dark side."

"Still… [cough] still spouting the wisdom [of] the Jedi, I see. Maybe there is more truth in their code than I ever believed. I… I cannot help but wonder, Revan. What would have happened had our positions been reversed? What if fate had decreed I would be captured by the Jedi? Could I have returned to the light, as you did? [cough] If you had not led me down the dark path in the first place, what destiny would I have found?"

"I am sorry I started you on this path. But you chose to continue down it."

"I suppose… I suppose you speak the truth. I alone must accept responsibility for my fate. I wanted to be Master of the Sith and ruler of the galaxy. But that destiny was not mine, Revan. [cough] It might have been yours, perhaps… but never mine. And in the end, as the darkness takes me, I am nothing."

    ―Darth Malak and Revan

I'm assuming you never have played the original KoTor Video Game.

And it is actually quite offending to think that Revan would die to us. He is one of the most powerful jedi's/ sith that has ever existed (Well, before that FP of course.)

I couldn't agree more. Just like Kreia said in KOTOR II, "Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force." So that means something. Revan is VERY powerful and seemingly omnipotent, as he deserves to be. So that means he's not dead. He more likely escaped.

  12. people make revan out to be some sort of divine god of the force and he was our character so it doesnt suprise me that much.

That's because Revan deserves to seemingly omnipotent. As Kreia said, "Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force."

But the Sith Emperor isn't just a living thing, he's total emptiness of all life. His immortality has made him a being unlike anything ever seen in the galaxy: a Void.

  13. I'd definitely like to see these planets that correlate with the SWTOR timelines, Old Republic era stuff and the legacy of the KOTOR games:

    1) Mandalore (learn more of the Mandalorian-Sith alliance)

    2) Geonosis (learn more of the Mandalorian-Sith alliance)

    3) Dantooine

    4) Dxun (yes its a moon i know)

    5) Belkadan

    6) Sernpidal

    7) Ruria

    8) Bothawui

  14. From another Thread

It starts after act 3 and ilium.

The Republic is pushing the Empire back on all fronts due to the aggressive strategy put forward by the new Chancellor. The Empire is resorting to scorched earth in order to slow done the Republic and give them time to bring in fresh Alien troops to fortress worlds, such as Duro.

Meanwhile the Republic is focusing on the Core and Inner rim, The Empire establishes a secret base on Byss and the then lunches a devastating assault on Tython destroying the jedi Temple and the ecosphere, ie turns in to a dust bowl.

Master Shan disappears, and when Garza wants to Strike back against Byss, will leaving the rim vulnerable, the Chancellor tries to have her removed. Garza then arrests the senate and the Republic falls into civil war.

Act 3 is the Empire consolidating it's positions,

while the players learn that the Emperor is planning to kill everyone.

While the Republic class capture Garza and prepare to fight the Sith Empire,

note most Republic classes don't know the Emperors plans, so they just prepare to Fight the Empire as a whole and not the Emperors supporters.

But the Sith Empire had been consolidating their power after the Treaty of Coruscant was signed. They even recently took Taris from the Republic. Shouldn't there a stalemate between the Republic and Sith Empire at this point in the Second Great Galactic War?

  15. hes not dead

and i think its 1.4 that will continue our story.

When i said "dead", that basically meant that the Emperor isnt dead. The Republic believes he is dead, but the Hand and Wrath know he isnt

Future story content isnt going to be in 1.4, that will be the companion story content. What we know is that there will be more class story imbetween now and end of the year( as stated in the Q & A). I believe that the story content will come right out after the book is released in November(?).

So, book is released and we find out the new power structures of the Republic and Sith Empire and whats been happening in terms of the main characters..then shortly after Bioware releases the story content which happens directly after the books events. A perfect way for Bioware to tie in the new class content with the book

Well I know but I'm just saying overall there should be new stories, starting with the Annihilation novel

  16. Well based on what we know from overall class stories:

    1) Taris was once in resettlement by the Republic, but after Saresh became Chancellor, the Sith Empire took Taris

    2) Corellia was reconquered by the Republic

    3) Plan Zero, Darth Angral's personal vendetta against the Jedi, etc. broke the Treaty of Coruscant

    4) The Emperor was believed to be "dead" and is really in hiding to be reborn; the Sith Empire is therefore vengeful and ready to counterattack

    5) Revan disappears again

    6) There are some Sith betraying their Empire

    7) As much as the Sith idolize their Emperor, they fear him.

So I'm thinking overall for the class stories, Acts IV, V and VI show how each class (class story, flashpoint) converges paths with the other classes of both sides. Act IV and V should portray how they fight each other, but V should show a hint of how they understand each other and their side more. Act VI should show how they unite sides since Sith are leaving their Empire and how both sides fight the Sith Emperor (The ending of Act VI should show how the Second Great Galactic War ends; Revan should also have a return and a major role in fighting the Sith Emperor) (The canonical ending for the Second Great Galactic War should be in a novel)

  17. Okay, so I've primarily been playing a Sith Warrior/Juggernaut, and seeing as how the ending to Act III could've been better and left things open for the future, how should the Warrior story continue from what we already know??

    1) Sith Warrior is now the Emperor's Wrath

    2) The Treaty of Coruscant it broken

    3) Darth Baras is dead

    4) The true Voice of the Emperor and the Emperor are in hiding

  18. Well, with the coming of Patch 1.3 and "Star Wars: The Old Republic: Annihilation", what potential story updates could there be?

    1) Drew Karpyshyn says the book takes place after the endings of all the class stories.

    2) Patch 1.3's got peoples' attention.

    3) The Emperor is "dead" and the Sith Empire are leaderless and want revenge.

    4) The Treaty of Coruscant is broken, thus starting the Second Great Galactic War.

  19. I have no doubt Revans knowledge/command of the force is way higher than any one of them. Revan might be or is "the" number one best tactian in all of Star Wars. Another thing you should remember is, the farther back in history you go the greater the Jedi and Sith were, on top of that non of them know how to use both the light and the dark side as he does, he's the only Force user for a....very....very....long time to remain completely neutral and not falter ( This is all revolving around the current Revan not his time as sith or knight.) On top of his expertise of being a warrior, his knowledge is turned into power. nuff said.

And there was 1 key thing that led in Revan's defeat against the Emporer in the book. It was apparently he didn't have the solari crystal in his lightsaber which would have left Meetra oppenly to kill the Emporer since dark siders can't use a lightsaber with that crystal inside.

I definitely see why Revan is one of the most strongest Jedi in the galaxy with a proficient connection to the Force. It takes us back to what Kreia said in KOTOR II: "Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force." So Revan was definitely powerful and deserves to be proclaimed that.
