  1. Go in your mission inventory and click any of the three cylinders to combine them then head to the lockbox near in the heroic pirate encampment and get the box.
  2. First time asking about anything on this forum so I'm going to thank anyone in advance for reading my post. My situation is that I'm torn between Carnage and Annihilation specs for Ops PvE, my 8man guild is 3/4 HM EC and clearing anything else with ease and I generally find myself top dps in the vast majority of fights. I currently play Carnage(5/31/5) and in the past have played Annihilation to similar dps numbers with about the same gear as I play Carnage. I've read recently that crit/surge are less important than I've previously invested in and would seek any advice from experts in either spec. My Armory as it stands now: Click Here For Those not wanting to look at my Armory my stats are as follows: 1871 Str(no stim), 439 Bonus Dmg, 100.54% acc, 40.55% crit, 79.09% surge
  3. Sad to see another sniper hang up his rifle, the community is already quite small and I think some of the problems of the class are simply from it being one of the least played ACs. Outside of that, a few more boosts on weapon scaling or something to help our dps would be nice in pve, I have no clue what would the proper solution for pvp would be.
  4. I hope this is just their beginning efforts at MMO fight design and will move on to better fights soon, hopefully in 1.3. I was glad for Kephess HM to have a non-tradition enrage as well with the purple circles filling the fight area, like Karraga as well.

In total agreement about the bug needing to be fixed but Bioware will drag their feet on this and NM will be ever closer with more people cheated by bugs then be left out in the cold from lack of gear. The result though is much like with Zorn and Toth for my guild, I was forced off my marauder on to my sniper and now will be forced back till the bug is fixed, hopefully with all due haste(lol Bioware cares about 8man raiding)
  7. Unspawnable on Mandalore the Indomitable for two weeks straight, no kill from anyone on the server to my knowledge
  8. I know snipers are great to have but Bioware should not pigeon-hole people into particular raid compositions to be able to clear their content, its not really easy to have one of your geared raiders drop for someone new or an alt just to clear content.

There is a myriad of things stopping eight man raids from getting the best of the loot; the class stacking required to kill the current version of Warlord Kephess, needing 16 to the campaign boots(you can make equivalent with black hole/augmented pieces but still don't have the set bonus - so you would need the other 4 set pieces for most ACs) and of course that the mechanics and health balance between eight and sixteen has never been equal since launch. All of this aside, my guild is trying our best to recruit someone at a similar playtime to do it, only to be blocked by the bug of raids failing at Pilgrim before us or bugging it in some way that the stone is unclickeble for the rest of the week.
  10. Yeah, they would have been a positive for the future - I missed two days but still manged to get the whole set, darn real life interruptions Loved the event BW, keep them coming as they keep the community involved and growing
  11. There is some odd itemization out there but there always seems to be a good choice as well, as a sniper I'm wear the Field Medic stuff but the Rakata earpiece for Field Medic was terrible compared to the Eliminator one so I just went with that.
  12. They drop very rarely(I've seen two in 5 weeks of 2-3 full clears of both ops) off the trash and its just not worth it to depend on them. I hope they get boosted in drop rate or become purchasable with commendations
  13. Love your guide and its a great first effort at writing a guide but I had a few questions to ask about your spec and how things work for you. How do you deal with cc's in most groups with all your aoe? Do you just ask tanks to move mobs away and/or los, it seems like alot of work and difficulty in places to deal with the aoe you cause. Fights like the bonus boss on KUS, the trash to the Foreman in KP and a few other places need cc and it seem like the spec is near worthless with its smash and other aoes. How do you feel about Defensive Forms in Carnage vs Cloak of Carnage - it seems like Defensive Forms would be more rage more often and also more DR up more often, I rarely need my Cloak or Saber Ward cds and would often forget them in the din of some fights. How do you think accuracy plays overall - I'm at 105.07% and I still see some misses with my offhand at a times, are these misses worth dropping it even lower for more crit/surge? Do you think the extra migation effects force attack positively more than melee? Lastly, what do you think of our set bonuses for pvp and pve, they dont seem to be particularly special to any spec and you would have to reslot alot of crit/surge to get the ideal gear that you expound on.
