Just a quick question: Starting off as a Marauder, does it make more sense to go straight up the Annihilation tree immediately? Or should I throw points in Malice, Defensive Forms and Dual Wield Mastery before I start Annihilation? Appreciate it. Thanks!

Finally got it. After I fleet beaconed out I geared up Gault (go Armorsmech) and went back. In addition to everything that was suggested I put Gault on follow and kited the Guards back to the med room with the canister in it. Didn't even need to focus, really, we did enough damage to our individual targets to throw off their healing. --- Totally agree that there would be a fight of this caliber right at the end. Hell, even the (potential) fight afterwards was a cake-walk compared to this.

I'm wondering if it's worth switching to Pyro or Adv. Prototype...less survivable, but I'll probably 'burn' them more quickly.

Thank you, sir. Finally remembered that I have a fleet beacon, so at least I'm out. Now to gear up and hope the quest isn't borked because I used the fleet beacon!

I think my favorite part was seeing a Merc start and complete the quest within an hour.

Kinda feeling the same way. Just posted over in the main BH forum. I only used Mako while leveling so she's the only one with any gear, unfortunately.

Hi all, Been stuck at the Supreme Guards for a day now. I've gotten one close to dead ONCE. Between the knockbacks and constant healing I don't see me completing the BH story anytime soon. Details: Powertech Shield spec. Standard PvE Tank build. Gear is fairly up to date (upper 40s stuff). I only really used Mako, so only her gear is up to date. Saw a few other threads regarding this (and the other bug), but the general consensus seems to be that folks are getting lucky and beating this fight. I CC as much as I can, but, like I mentioned, I've only ever gotten close once. Plus, I'm stuck on the ship with no hope of gearing up and going back. Just at a loss right now. Hate to think I wasted the last two weeks and that I'll have to start over. Anyone else have an positive experiences with this fight? Something other than 'got lucky'? ps Sorry for the tl:dr. Needed to vent.
