I do extremely well with my gunslinger, and I spent most my time in cover. What I do laugh about is the guns/snipes who run around doing the instant shot constantly then complain their dps sucks. btw, going into and out of cover is quick along with talents that make charged shot instant cast on entering cover. You do not have to stay in place for ages.

How is obtaining gear and a valor rank (that is obtained purely through time invested) related to PvP? I thought PvP was about being the best, not grinding to obtain gear. Bring in a ranking system so I can laugh at this **** who thinks time invested = skill level. On a side note, it's the casual players that make MMO's their money. Now refer to my sig.

Stick <14's against 50 is suicide. But my 25's can handler their own against level 50's.

What some do is not delete your character after say 6months to a year, but allow your in game name to be taken so you have to change it on return. Varies on the company policies. This being EA..... I'd be fearful

Umm. I think you're a little stuck as an actual lightsaber can not be created, only the parts. If you're a Knight/Warrior then create a petition in game. If you're a Sage/Inqu then use spells only and keep questing. There will be a reward shortly. On a side note save compendations for planet 2 as you can get a lightsaber from comendation vendors also.

MMO companies will always introduce an option for migrating a character between servers for a fee later on. But it can be a complicated process depending on the design of the system. Bare in mind this is the new player question area. Do what I do, be nice here, troll everywhere else

I think huttball is great. The reason people don't like it is to the average player (i.e. an idiot), it's too complicated to follow. Few examples for you. 1. Players who ignore the ballcarrier and where he is. 2. Players who stand on the ledge near their base when a Warrior/Knight has the ball. 3. Players who run through the acid and flames. 4. Players who don't know what knockback is. 5. Players who do not look around (especially up on platforms) to pass the ball too. etc etc

What i am saying to you is this: Yes they have more skill points. Yes they have more skills. NO, it does not determine that the lvl 50 will 100% win. NO, I'm happy to fight against lvl 50's for now as it's more fun pvping than sitting in a queue. What I WOULD prefer to happen is that players have a rating system behind the scenes and each team roughly adds up to the same score in matchmaking. But that's overly complicated i'm sure for EA/BW

I have rolled a lvl 50 character with my lvl 18 in a warzone. Believe it or not, player skill comes into question. But lvl 50's have an advantage I agree. Personally I would say 10-29, 30-49, 50. Also remember the buff you get is: Maxing your skills to the highest level. Maxing your based stats to max level. Multipling your item stats by x depending on your lvl. So if you have amazing gear (e.g. lvl 20 pvp gear set at lvl 20). You're in pretty good shape to take on 50's.

I'm pretty sure it an't that bad. But also, all group missions on every planet are repeatable daily. I'm sure some of these reward very high light/dark either way.

Lord Cal has RP. But you need to turn off General chat and join the /RP channel. Everything in say and yell is RP though from what i've seen.

There has been a lot of fuss regarding no auto attacks etc. If macro's were added to the game then you could just create your own autoattack completely negating the reasoning and effort BW put into explain why there is no autoattack. Now... programmable companions like dragon age? yes please.

Macro's for things like: 1 button to switch between two different stances. Macro's to do 5 different abilities in order with set delay's. No, just no.

My server it's republic who always wins as Empire are just brainless -.- Huttball - there's 6 in the pit killing a low life guy while 5 enemies are running the ball over the line. I'm knocking people into pit, stunning, mezzing solo -.- Voidstar - 6 people covering one door leaving me to cover 2nd door -.- Capture and Hold - 6 People charing middle one at a time getting picked out by the 3 enemies covering it and ignoring the sides. I can literallly name the players I've enjoyed pvp with on Empire. Lord Cal ftw It's server and player based, nothing to do with faction.
