  1. I don't think that would work if you look at it in an RP-way. I mean "Oh! Wasn't your brother the one who helped me with the exact same problem you are helping me with now?" doesn't really sound too great, right?

  2. The Barrager,Shock Drum,Planet Prison were all in Var Suthra's superweapons project, so you are incorrect in there being just one planet destroying superweapon. Let's not forget friggin Hammer Station, which was capabale of destroying entire cities in one shot and given enough time could provide a ELE on any planet. Don't forget Revan, with his Republic and Jedi backing, and his genocidal droids. Then of course you have the Power Guard project, the various other illegal experiments and projects going on in Belsavis.

I bring these up not to further the OP's point, only to illustrate that both sides are capable of cruelty and evil, and both sides are capable of creating weapons to ensure the destruction of the other without thinking of the cost to planets, civilians and galaxies that get in the way. I've always said the Sith Empire and Republic don't exist as pure good versus evil, or black and white, they both exist in shades of gray.

The only major difference is the Sith Lords are overt in their actions while the Republic tries to keep their questionable actions covert.

I am not that far in the Jedi Knight story, but: The Planet Prison didn't destroy Planets, it only disabled fleets and prevented ships to enter and leave the planet. Also the Hammer Station was supposed to be destroyed they just failed to do so properly. And I also doubt that Revan said "Hey, could I get some troops, ships and Jedi to protect a Space Station where I will create Droids for a mass genocide? K, thanks!"

  3. Uh, obviously that's untrue considering what happens near the end of the Jedi Knight's Act 1. The Desolator was not one of the Republic's research projects. And the one planet destroying weapon the Republic created by accident was immediately banned from further testing. When the Empire stole it, they deployed it immediately to destroy a planet in order to kill one individual. And that's just counting what happens in TOR. Darth Nihiuls used sith teachings at Trayus Academy on Malachor V to devour entire planets. He was also worse than what Var Suthra and Godera were doing.

You forgot to mention that not everyone "who says a word against the Republic" goes to Belsavis. Only the worst criminals in the Republic go there. The worst thing with Belsavis is that their children are forced to stay there aswell, even if they didn't do anything

  4. Actually, I wouldn't say the Imperials have done nothing of importance.

The BH kills the Supreme Chancellor and several Jedi, high ranking Jedi. The Sith Warrior completly annihilates the Republics War Council. Also I heard that in the JK and JC story the Jedi lose many of their Council members

  5. Skadge and Adronikos might get along. Khem Val and Qyzen both seem to have a hunter's heart.

These two probably would not be friend's due to species animosity but I would be curious what would happen if Bowdaar and Qyzen crossed paths.

I guess there would be a battle to the death

  6. Anakin flirting with Ahsoka tano his own padawan before he marry padme

Jabba and Leia (albeit a forced relationship / slavery)

Humans dating Aliens in that coruscant bar scene, or Aliens dating Aliens on Mos Eisley Cantina

Uhm, Anakin married Padme before he got a Padawan, also I never saw him flirting with her

  7. As for number 1: We have Alderaan, Tatooine, Hoth and Coruscant. They are original Planets. We don't need every single Planet that was in the OT and PT (allthough I wouldn't say no to Geonosis).

Number 3: Why would we have to change ships? I don't see many characters in SW do that, and your point was that it would add to the SW feeling.

  8. Easy, you drag one of your characters into the tree and then proceed adding your other characters to the one you added first. He is kind of the main character in the tree. And as far as I know there are no bonuses for marriage/ child/ sibling etc.
  9. Honestly, they should give everyone the ability to use the weapon they want, with a few exceptions. Snipers for example should have to use Sniperrifles. However I don't see why Bounty Hunters can't use Assault Rifles, or Operatives Blasterpistols.
  10. Thing is where is the reward in doing it? Half the reason why people don't group up and do these things is the reward system is based on luck, they're not going to get anything out of it bar the repair bill. They could at least make the world boss like an area mission where you turn in stuff to the mission box.

If I wanted to gamble I'd spent my £8.99 a month subscription on lottery tickets instead.

Credits and an Achievment, there is your reward

  11. Yeah, he became a council member during the time of we went to Belsavis to get that machine.

Ah ok, didn't know that. I only know him from the SW story ending, in which he is on the Dark Council

  12. Skotia was a rival. not her master. he was a darth that had a grudge against Zash for a reason i cant remember, i know its stated but i cant remember why. he was basically blocking her from being promoted to a Darth so zash needed to take skotia out so she can advance in rank.

Thanaton isn't either of their masters either, but he's a "higher ranked darth" than either of them.

sith ranks are kinda vague actually if you think about it.

Not really vague. Thanathon is a Dark Council member, the Sith Hierachy goes something like this:

Darth in the Dark Council > Darth > Lord > Overseer (?) > Apprentice > Acolyte

  13. @DartDetonate:

I very much doubt that Tera is completely bug free. Maybe you mean it has no game breaking bugs, but on the other hand I never encountered those in SWTOR either. And what you said about being "max level and have the best gear in 4 days" is also something I very much doubt.

  14. Her Master, and while she was a Padawan in Return, she's aged visibly in Hope (despite the former being released after the latter). The Hope trailer is, I would guess, not very long before the current game time. The trooper in it even shows up in the storyline more than once on the Republic side (I can't remember if it's a class or planet storyline, though). What I can never understand is how people figure that's Darth Malgus. Looks nothing like him at all.

Not entirely sure, but I think the events from "Hope" are ~ 10-12 years before the current game as it was in the end of the war and the game takes place 10 years after the treaty was signed. Again, I am not entirely sure

  15. Better to just class movie characters by the proper lore "classes" but oh well :p

Sidious was one of the primary inspirations for inquisitors, sorcerers specifically

Vader was the inspiration for Juggernaut so...

Tyrannus, he is a bit of a schemer and plotter so yea inquisitor

Maul is way more of a warrior than an inquisitor so I'd say he's a Marauder (which is why I think marauders should have had the saberstaff)

Kenobi, well, he specialized in ataru so that would be a sentinel.

Qui-gon, this is where the game classes really make it hard, Qui-gon was obviously a good swordsman, but his philosophies and attuenment to the force is more like a consular.

Luke, as he is in the movies he doesn't really fit any of the classes

Actually Kenobi specialized in the Soresu form.

    EDIT: @ Solrac

If I am not mistaken George Lucas himself said that Windus victory in the lightsaber duel was legit
