I say obsolete because BETTER items are available to everyone that require far less work/effort/money/time overall, its a strong word but I still feel its accurate if my original example is true...

I heard that endgame dailies/tokens yield better upgrades than max level crafts, is that true? Did I just waste countless credits first grinding Artifice Archeology and Treasure Hunting to 400 as I level, and then wasting countless more mats on random chances to make better versions of these crafts, only to see them be worthless before I can even use them? I was excited to see the "...have learned to make Advanced Guardian Hilt 22" but then I hear that vendors sell Guardian Hilt 23...*** is this true?

Thats what i thought initially, but they do have some distinct traits. For example the hilt i listed has a noticable triangle shaped silverish handle, and the hilt is actually longer than other sabers i have had which also makes the saber as a whole longer (tested by drawing the saber, aligning the end with a line on the ground, and swapping equipment). Again, i only ask because the dressing room function doesnt work with weapons so i cant really browse other hilts easily....

As I close in on 50 on my Sith Jugg (incredible journey so far, can't stop playing!), I've been thinking about which lightsaber to drop significant money and upgrades in to. Originally I was going to keep the first Ancient Lightsaber current, but it's staying banked for now. So far, the only lightsaber that I have that I want to upgrade is the Dread Sith Savage Lightsaber that I got as a quest reward awhile back: http://www.torhead.com/item/cgysuPw Does anyone know where different lightsaber hilts can be easily browsed? Database sites are still in their infancy so most of them lack screenshots (the link I provided, for example, just has the item's icon, but the hilt looks very similar)...what is everyone's favorite hilt they've come accross so far?
