Greetings, Meatbags! We're seeking to bolster our community for game expansion 4.0 with like-minded players who enjoy clearing Hard Mode raiding content. On the Imperial Side, we are also known by <Vulcan Death Grip> We have guild ship & exp bonus. We're also currently 7/10 in ToS/Ravagers HM, cleared Colossal Monolith HM, and looking to build a second raid team! (One of the preferred raid days would be Friday and the other one can be worked out based on availability of those interested). Requirements: -Common sense (non negotiable). -Mumble/headset communication [being to at least hear commands] (non negotiable) -Be at least 4/10 on current HM content (somewhat negotiable). -Be fully auged with Advanced 36 Augments (resolve, might, reflex, skill, etc); (non negotiable) -Be able to adapt and overcome mechanics, communicate effectively with group members, and be able to commit at least one day a week to HM raiding content [at least Fridays) (negotiable) -Group discussions/feedback on strategy {bosses and content} and dynamics {what people work best with whom, etc} (negotiable). -Knowing a rotation and being able to pull at least 3k HPS/DPS (3,000) on most fights (non negotiable) -Feel free to bring humor and fun, but know when to knuckle down and focus on the content for the night. Has their been any confirmation through official channels or not if we are going to get higher level crew skills come this next expansion? Say to 600 for example, etc. I didn't see another thread about this subject matter, so I decided to make one.

I swear, getting information out of BioWare about plot for up-coming expansions and updates is like Mulder's hunt for extraterrestrials in the X-files...full of crackpot theories and EA conspiracies, with little evidence to back anything up.

The reply to end all replies: Being a special snowflake PVP gank squad on an RP server is like being a David Hasselhoff in the Special Olympics. Sure; you can look buff and knock all the other kiddies around, but at the end of the day, you're neither competitive nor testing how good you really are, you're taking the easy fights you know are easy and not actual challenges.

But that's the thing: you can. All the PVE orange gear can be used in PVP, not the other way around. There is no requirement for the PVE orange stuff, with the exception of legacy-bound rep armors.

Or billions of credits at the GTN.

The usual que for my server is 30-40 minutes per match (during the day, when I have my playtime). I might not be the best PVP'er out there, but at least I try to bring my team to victory and use call outs and team work, as not to lose hard points. So no need to flaunt your e-peen here.

I wish we could petition to get the valor removed...I absolutely hate pvp, I really don't want to have to play it for 6 months so I can wear my armor. That's depressing.

Yeah, but I have to grind pvp for 6 months to get the needed valor required to unlock it... it's just sitting in my bag, completely unusable. I wish they would remove the valor requirement or make it until a non-valor version could be crafted.

Somebody linked the non-valor bounty hunter equivalent in general chat just now, so I know it does exist... somewhere.

So what would everyone think about having a Darth Marr armor set from the cartel market? Freshly transferred lvl 55 commando from Shadowlands (72/78) w/set bonuses, raid experience/awareness, willing to accept a retail schedule that changes from week to week, but will inform guild of availability as needed. Being Star Wars lore junkies is a plus!

I've been also considering that, because I have a lot of quality, geared characters. Granted it would take time to move them all there, but the ideal is very simple... I want my current guild to move to that server as well. If they're keen to it, but I know I'm going to leave Shadowlands at some point, either way.

I did an EV SM for fun last night and the heals and tanks kept dying almost every single time... these are people in 69/72 gear doing a tier 50 raid as a 55 who can't clear the content and I just can't deal with that level of bad in a pug run. On top of that, general chat is horrendous. I'd compare it to barrens chat from WoW and I just don't have time to deal with that when I pug. And I must pug often because of my odd store hours, I don't get to raid much with my guild anymore. I must thank you for the clever tips! You're solidifying my choice to go to TEH that much more.

As I've come to completely despise and hate most of my server, I feel it's time for a change and I'm really hoping that TEH will be a good fit for me. I'm mainly a pub HM progression raider, but enjoy SWTOR lore and interacting with a good community (which I've yet to have on any of my servers since launch). So what is the culture of TEH like?
