  1. For the most part everyone knows Gunslingers/Snipers are an easy kill so you're usually the main assist right off the bat. If you try to "be more mobile" You just get force leaped and die faster. GG.
  2. Really? You move every 6 seconds? You must not be fighting competent Knight or Trooper/BH classes cause I get force leaped a lot when I try to move out of cover. Cover is useful if only for the fact that we can can't be CCed in it. Which means we pretty much have to sit still for the full duration of Hunker Down (45 secs) if we don't want to be CCed to death.
  3. So basically nothing to do with class balancing or anything truly pvp relevant? Fixing that stuff needs to be done, but there are certainly more dire balance issues, reward issues, and pvp game mechanics that need to be addressed first over making a targetting ring more visible, or adding a combat log for training. Those are little perks that we would like to have, but don't fix the obvious problems that are glaring Bioware in the face. That's what I care about... not the fact that my group disbands when I get out of a warzone.
  4. Are you blind? If it wasn't an issue then there wouldn't be so many threads complaining about it. If you think the game is perfect and no changes need to be made, good for you. As they say; ignorance is bliss. But if your a man of reason and logic then you would concede that nothing is ever perfect, but a great game is distringuished from a lame game by how it pursues perfection. The first step is identifying what needs to be improved. So once again, good for you if you think nothing is wrong... keep your eyes shut, your ears covered, stay off the forums and you'll be the happiest person in the world knowing none the wiser. For everyone else who lives in the real world, these discussions are for you.
  5. Mythic was pretty bad at Warhammer. The classes never got balanced, instead they focused on everything else. The game went down the tube real quick. Hope that doesn't happen here.

Mirror classes that aren't balanced with their mirror counterparts with crucial pvp elements like faster casting times, cooldowns on abilities, and additional CC's given to one class and not the other. Implementing a resolve system that greatly diminishes a classes survival who depends on CC and not increasing their defense elsewhere (gunslingers/snipers). Rogue type classes running around with stun + burst abilities that are unmanageable. Mage classes getting 3k bubbles every 20 seconds and super sprint speed making them very tough to kill (that's 9k damage a minute they can absorb). Level 50's running around in warzones with obvious PvP advantages. A PvP reward system that doesn't quite seem fair some players based on the amount of work put in. In open world pvp allowing a certain class (sage/consular) to essentially CC your companion continuously for as long as they see fit with Force Lift/Whirlwind and keep them out of the fight completely altogether. Can Bioware really fix all the blantant PvP problems in general as well as fix a class imbalance that spreads across multiple class archtypes? Their first big patch update will say a lot about how well they know what's going on within their own game, and how aggressive or conservitive they are going to be about fixing it. I'm looking forward to seeing if they are going to take one step forward, or two steps back. I just hope it's not 2 inches forward and several more months of frustration.

    Sniper Buff

    I agree that we need more defense. We're a ranged class that can't kite well because we have to be in cover to use our strongest abilities which makes us stationary. Not to mention whenever we're not in cover we get force leaped and facerolled immediately. Furthermore, the resolve system really hurts our class since we rely on our CC so much as our only defense. When we can't use any abilities or even when we can only use 1, it greatly hurts our chance of surviving.
  8. We have the worst defense out of every class and now we can only use two CC's? You need to increase our defense abilities somewhere if your going to nerf the only defensive skills we have.
  9. In open world pvp Sages can CC your pet the entire time and 2v1 you too!

HAHAHAHAHAHA OMG, I just fell out of my chair laughing! What a genius post, you should be a comedian. When will you guys get the hint that other classes don't give two***** about your supposed lack of "burst dps" when you guys are dealing a quick high amount of consistent dps. Burst dps is only more useful in pvp when it's unexpected or the person is getting healed or has the potential of getting healed, otherwise DPS is DPS.
  11. I don't have the time, will, or care to search for, copy/paste, crunch numbers, and calculate a report out for you in which the results would still be unquestionably subjective. Do you deny you have self heals? You shouldn't. Do you deny you have bubbles? You mentioned at least one for 3k every 20 seconds, so I don't think you will deny that either although from experience it seems there might be two, but I digress I'm too lazy to look it up. Do you deny that you have DPS+ stuns, DPS+snares, DPS+ self heals which are all abilities that are the core abilities in your dps rotation that make up the majority of your pvp DPS? Do you deny that most of your DPS is either instant cast or instant channeled abilities? Do you deny you have a range of at least 30m on most of your DPS abilities? Do you deny you have at least 3 CC's? Do you deny that you can stack DOTS? If you can't deny any of these things, then I have proven my point.
  12. Again you have misunderstood or you are just really bad at reading comprehension. I didn't say the ability "bubble" itself was on par with "high armor class" mitigation, but that sorcs with the ability makes their mitigation as whole, throughout the entire fight, on-par with a "high armored class." You accuse me of lying and insist I haven't proved anything, yet you haven't proved I am lying.
  13. Um, use a CC? If Sprint is the only thing that keeps you alive what do you do when it's down? Besides, don't most melee classes have perma snare anyway, you're telling me that you don't already stand there and get pummeled and don't bubble/cc/dps yourself to victory anyway?
  14. I didn't say "tank" I said "high armor wearing classes." The difference is that a TANK implies high armor along with damage mitigation abilities combined while I was only referring armor in terms of mitgation. 3k every 17 seconds is hella nice in that regard, especially from range when you can run away at any time.
  15. Sages and Sorcs have no business with Force Sprint. Your melee alternatives deserve it, but the last thing a self-healing, self damage shielding, dot stacking, high damage mage class needs is a rouge sprint. You guys have plenty of CCs usable from range, most of your damage abilities do more than one thing like dps+stun, dps+snare, dps+heal you, and your instant cast bubbles allow you to mitigate damage on par with high armor wearing classes. Not to mention you guys never run out of force. You really don’t need an “LOL I can run you down!” or “LOL I can run away anytime I want and you can’t kill me!” card.
  16. I love bounty hunters who do that. I interrupt their first tracer missle and it prevents them from recasting it for 6 seconds, so they stand around for 2 more seconds wondering *** to do because their whole gameplan just failed.
  17. Companions are sometimes slow to engage targets that you attack, or stand idle for an extended period of time in between mob kills unless specifically told to attack it. I noticed this problem a lot more frequently with my ranged companions against targets that were out of LOS of it, seems it would take them a while to realize they needed to move to be able to attack it unless I told them to. Relics put on the right side hotbar, more specifically the top two slots (not sure about the rest), randomly disappear from time to time and I have to reslot them again and again. I haven't figured out what triggers this. Also if you put anything in the top two right side slots then some pvp warzone maps actually cover them up making you unable to see them and click them.
  18. Headshot is not usable in pvp. Does not become available for use even if target is stunned or CCed, whether in cover or not.
