  1. How goes the all alacrity build? Does she wreck stuff enough to sit back with a bag of popcorn?
  2. The way I level my alts is black talon/essales to15/16 then go to dk/cor. Easy to stay 2 levels higher from there.
  3. Actually, it's not a bad idea IF you have legacy gear. I did just this to always have blue modded gear on one of my alts and spent the comms on my companion only or artifact boxes for creds.
  4. If you are on a pvp server, that may be why.
  5. I wouldn't say it's so much of a rotation as much as it is filler. What I am saying is, that affliction, thundering blast and chain lightening off of procs are your primary concerns.
  6. I say make the escape hatch useable for that one purpose. Make it a threat since the droid is actually useful if you are crafting. Shut up or out the hatch you go.
  7. Threat generation is not that difficult. We need more passive mitigation. I'm sure most healers will agree. It wouldn't hurt to have another cd too.
  8. I'd like to see flame engine done away with and replaced by something boosting our shield chance or adding internal/elemental resistance. Flame engine would be better suited in ap or pyro.
  9. For a pvp powertech, would it even be worth stacking shield augs? I can totally see absorb being worth it. But to actually have a slightly better chance to shield attacks may be even better?
  10. I'm thinking of leveling tank in pvp. Right now, I am 24. Should I start stacking absorb enhancements as soon as I can and "try" to stay up longer?
  11. This build would be real nice for huttball, if everyone and their brother didn't stun you. Of course, I can only speak of my server Bastion. If HO negated stuns, we truly would be unstoppable.
  12. That is exactly what my build is. As much as I would love to dps and take a beating, I decided that utility works out better. Still, its easy to pull off some damage in huttball with the pits. Not too shabby at carrying either.
  13. Dps is fine until around Alderaan. It starts getting tougher there. Should be around lvl 30 then. Use Mako for dps. I switch to tank when I picked up Gault. Around 30, tank is really good with a dps companion. This goes all the way to the end. Like Spitoc said, field respect is a very nice tool to have. I will tank when I am running on planets and switch to dps for flashpoints and pvp. Learning to do both will teach you a lot about the class.
  14. Anyone try this in pvp yet? 10-15 fps gets me killed in wzs.
  15. Yeah, this is a pretty fun spec. It's actually quite easy to manage. It may do well in pvp and pve. I read the other iron fist post. Flaming fist.....I like it.
  16. I would have loved to have tested this myself, but since I updated<lol to windows 8, my fps has been horrible. I figured heat may be an issue, but it's nice to know that it is manageable. Hopefully I will be able to test this build soon. Thanks for the input.
  17. I figured since the original Iron Fist build was nerfed, perhaps this is a chance to try a slightly modified version of it. I figure it's worth a try. http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/powertech/231/?build=023212300000212200120000000000000223120220100212201000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000&ver=20
  18. Nor is there really a dark side or light side of the force. There is just the user and their intent.
  19. I have been seeing this on my sniper. Like you said, no resolve bars but they don't move when I do my kb. Seems to be only happening in pvp.
