  1. I have to admit this is annoying to the point that I wonder if I want to continue my subscription- not because of a 'nerd rage' but rather simply because I love pvp and seeing how this is being handled at this stage of the game makes me worry about future Pvp. Not saying I won't come back later on, but maybe let it cool off for a month or so as they fix the game... Yet then again...Guild Wars 2 is looking pretty nice and Guild Wars 1 was supposedly superb with pvp. So I guess I'll just have to see how the two are pvp wise. Though it's mechanical issues like this that are worrying me a lot and making the game seem...well rather 'gilded' with all its amazing story line and voices and what not.
  2. And all of these ideas sound good and fine BUT... Is bioware going to do anything or say anything about this? I've been waiting for them to post something, to at least acknowledge this problem but I have yet to see it- yet I know that many people are talking about this. So what gives?
  3. Well I would imagine that the developers allow level 10 and upwards to participate in War Zones due to the fact that they intended for people to play them at that level and to enjoy that part of the game and to learn how to pvp at a lower level. However this 'jocky' like attitude and approach to the subject is rather delightful in bringing a laugh.
  4. Alright so short, sweet and to the point. I don't find it fun playing Warzones nearly as much as I did during the first week of early launch and the first week of regular launch. I don't play a lot, I have a life, so leveling is a bit slower so I'm not at 50 yet at all. Yet now that all the hardcore players are at 50 it seems that they are swarming the War Zones. Is Bioware going to do anything about this at all? Just kind of curious. For now I know I won't play nearly as many war zones due to this (coupled with repetitive huttball)
  5. Alright, so my first character was an SI. I LOVED it. I would always get first, second, or third place in every War Zone and had a TON of fun with it. I felt awesome, mauling the heck out of someones back, then CCIng them as they turned around and mauling them again, popping into stealth and running to a health buff and then mauling another person up- sneaking up on some one just as they were at 1/3 of their health and getting a killing blow. Tons of fun and very rewarding. After hitting level 21 I decided to go around and try some other classes out, specifically on the Republic. After leveling a trooper to 20 and a JK to 15 I really began to understand what all the QQing is about. It's hard as hell to play on Republic. Maybe that's wrong- BUT from the perspective of a new customer I would find that playing on the Republic or as a JK or Trooper to be very...hard- I hardly ever get even third place and am usually always some where in the mid placement for a match. This might turn away some customers, especially to people new to MMO's that don't understand the concept of 'future nerfing' or PVP/class changes. For me personally, I'm totally up in the air now. Do I want to play as my SI, getting thrown into Huttball after Huttball only to possibly face a major nerf and be let down by the drop in power? (As any true Sith would loath) Or do I tough it out on the Republic, enjoy the variety in my War Zones, keep getting a beating, and wait for the possible nerfing of other classes and powering of mine? Personally it's a little too much for me to be worried about with a video game.
  6. I see this thread is still strong I Support this entirely
  7. Oh my gawd...you're right... I've-I've...I've become infected... QQing is contagious... Dude...you have to do it...you-you-you have to take me out... *raises the blaster in your hand to my head* DO IT DAMN'IT! I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS!
  8. Alright I've been around the forums for the last few days and I've come to find that there is an abundance of QQing going on from people that say they understand what's wrong with the pvp system, the servers, what classes are OP and what Bioware should do to fix it all... You know NOTHING until you reach max level and start to access the end game content Anyone who says they have a problem should immediately shut up, log off, walk outside, go for a walk, come back and then actually PLAY the game without QQing until they get to max level and the end game content and THEN after you have played the end game content and the lvl 50 pvp THEN you can QQ... This preemptive crying and moaning and ************ is getting annoying as hell. Most of you are playing at lvl 10-20 and talking as if you've experienced the entire game which is impossible and then go into the forums demanding for radical change that is totally irrational.
  9. Oh QQ freaking QQ OP is being emotional over all this and so are a lot of you other guys Punish Sith players for going Sith, give bonuses for players that go Republic? If there is one thing I've learned from playing MMO's is this... The MORE the developers intervene with player choices the LESS people want to play the game. Additionally, you will NEVER have equal populations. Life isn't fair, get over it... Freaking communists...LAWL!
  10. OP should roll on a PVE server Problem solved /Thread
  11. I support this message and thread WPVP is the best. Ganking is the moral fiber behind the pvp server and is what makes it beautifully and brutally relishing. Allowing us the players to make our battlefields, our own contested territories to take from one another in waves of rage and foaming mouths hinted with the aftertaste of Friday night beer is a delight that sets mmo's outside of the box of traditional gaming. Again, I support this message. FOR THE EMPIRE!
  12. I can't wait to gank the snot out of some scrubs on my server when they get logged in on the 20th PVP server for the win But hey, it's all for fun. It's like a friendly beat down that says... "WELCOME TO THE SERVER NERF HERDER!" *light saber cutting sound *
