Considering that's the FP and end game hub outside of Ilum (think Cata's zone hubs in Org & SW) that is likely accurate. Won't see a lot of 85s bouncing around Arathi either I'm guessing. Or Dal. Or Shatt. But if you by chance took a look at the chat panel you will see the point of my post. All the numbers in the world don't translate to activity, but the LFG traffic doesn't lie. Our server rocks with it. You are free to disbelieve all you like. It doesn't affect my ability to play any part of the game my characters are eligible to play, and I can do that on our server.
85s can go farm and make money. Crafting in WoW is far from great, but by comparison it looks like the greatest system around. They can do an outstanding array of dungeons at the click of a button. Different quests offer your character different advantages, be it aesthetically or so be it.
50s stand on the fleet. Queued, or typing LFG for a while. That is all they do.

Mask of Nihilus started in early access averaging 80 or so in IF by release. Now fleet averages between 175 and 200 during peak, and chat is packed with LFGs. We all stuck together during queue hell the first few weeks and now it's healthy & thriving.
Screen taken last Monday night. Time stamp is U.S. CST and the server is a U.S. west coast server - 2 hrs behind us.

Players tend to collect at the fleet when there is not one other location to be at level 50.

They can be played as ranged. Maybe he was a Dirty Fighting Scoundrel. Did you ask or did you just assume that was a Scrapper since he wasn't healing?
Scoundrels/Operatives still have all the fundamental Smuggler/Agent skills that help them to be ranged.
Is it optimal? Of course not, but not everyone gives a flying Force what's optimal.
This attitude is the reason PuGs are unplayable.

You choose to be reliant on surge there is the difference, why? because you read on some web site thats how you should be. So do you understand the class? what options you actually have when it comes to enhancing/modding items? I seriously doubt it.
I seriously dislike players that "stray from the norm" because they think it's cool. There is a mathematically correct way to play every MMO. Your hipster attitude does not change that.

While most deserters are obnoxious, the simple fact is that if the group is terrible (90% of pugs) I'll probably leave too. Unskilled players are a waste of my time.

...Yeah, did you miss it that time, too? Level 50. No one makes it to 50 on a Sentinel if they don't know what they're doing. I'm not a n00b. I'm a frustrated customer who can't pretend that dying all the time is fun any more.
Do you want an award for reaching level 50? Seriously, it's not impressive. At all.

hum, i think is ok about classes... we will need more content but they are aleady making it and january17 we will have a patch with some new things...
the thing we need is servers merge .. playing in tatooine and alderaan with 20people is sad...
And legacy! LEGACY! come on, new playable races? Skills? give me give me...
I'm going to assume you're republic. There are many more people on the imperial side.

Thats intersting, I know when I was at WoW's server there was like 100k people. I wonder how many people max they can have on 1 swtor server? But regardless, I prefer it like this.
It's really not even comparable, I believe. It "seems" (I'm no expert) that the servers fill at 5k-10k people.

I've perused most of this thread, but I didn't see any reference to a specific ETA on the patch that will fix the issue with Kira. Is there one, or is ETA "when it's ready"?
I'm rather shocked that this issue isn't receiving top priority, seeing as anyone who plays a Jedi is basically being forced to either play a different character or stop playing altogether until this issue is fixed.
Or they could just continue to play the game. It is a well done game, you will survive without your e-romance for a few levels.

Just because you get owned doesn't mean others do.
Make sure to explain to people that you are geting owned and is sick of it, not saying it is telling people lies and is trying to stray people to feel bad for you.

True, but for an optimal playing experience with 18 buttons, I would avoid sentinel.

The issue is the severe imbalance of 50's having access to gross advantages that people 1-49 do not have access to.
Try again.
You are severely overstating the advantages they have, but your tone suggest that you are not actually searching for a solution anyhow.
Of course 50s should be better, but they are certainly not unkillable.

I suggest getting your child a Razer Naga mouse. It has 18 buttons on it and he will be able to play any class with it.

Except for sentinel. 18 buttons is not enough for sentinel.

This is an issue with the PVP warzone system. If it was a personal problem, then it wouldn't be a widespread and heavily debated issue.

You pubs need to start queuing.
All I play, all day/night long, is huttball after huttball. And all us imps are getting exceedingly good and tough at huttball.
We're also getting geared quicker, so when that rare Alderaan or Voidstar pops up, it's usually a very short and easy game.There are like, 40 republic players in the entire game that didn't want to be an OMG LOOK AT ME I AM SO EVIL character.
If you want targets, make a republic character. The community is infinitely more mature anyhow.

I am not the most creative person and personally I am ok with that. I made a Jedi Guardian that is based off Anakin and he is level 19 now and still no opition to use the force in anyway besides lightsaber. Will I ever be able to use force push? If not then why if that is the class that Anakin def was then why was he able to if they based the classes off the movies and how they worked (according to an interview I saw.)
