  1. Giradda the Hutt (PvE, EST) seems to have a pretty good population on the Republic side. Check it out.
  2. I second that. Even though my guild has a Vent, it would be nice to communicate in PUGs, especially Flashpoints. LOTRO's voice chat works fine BTW, little delay and good quality overall
  3. Yes, and you know what? He is not alone. It is not difficult to understand that some people do NOT want to PvP in any case, so why should I change my style of playing, and not using AoE, which is important in PvE just because someone is exploiting it? And you are not getting it. There should 0% that should be happening. I should not have to watch my back (and even that doesn't suffice, as the player can be stealthed) before tagging a mob. Oh I guess you are a PvP player in a PvP server. Good for you, but PvE servers are named like that for a reason: people do not want to PvP, unless they WILLINGLY choose to.
  4. Two things: Either you are a Troll, well-played then. Or you are serious. And then you have some issues at comprehending even the simplest concepts.
  5. Okay there was a misunderstanding then. I agree with consensual PvP, if people enjoy it and you are in a consensual area, why not? :)
  6. Agree, my guild has a Vent program, but it will be nice to talk to non-guildies, especially when doing Flashpoints and group content
  7. Just to clarify, when you say Open World PvP, do you mean designated areas where people could PvP? Because that's NOT what Open World PvP means in a MMO. Open World PvP means all planets and territories are open to PvP, you cannot unflag yourself, and thus you are on perpetual danger of fighting both mobs and enemies. Some people like it for the thrill. Good for them, I play MMOs to relax and am NOT looking for any PvP whatsoever. So if I misinterpreted you I apologize, but your sentence "I like Open PvP in a PvE server" sounded odd, especially because it contradicted your following sentence about being griefed, which I fully support of course
  8. You said yourself you like to see open World PvP on a PVE server. If you are playing on a PvP server, why should you care? If you are playing on a PvE server and want Open World PvP, plenty of PvP servers to choose from. No need to stay on a PvE one.
  9. I do not understand. If you like open World PvP, why do you not roll on a PvP server in the first place? Open World PvP have no place in a PvE server, period. There should not way you flag yourself for PvP, unless you choose to. (flag yourself option). The problem is that griefers, cowards as they are, are using a game's inconsistency to ruin other people's experience. Poor losers, who probably would not stand a chance in a PvP server and who then choose to hassle non PvP players on PvE servers.
  10. /signed BW, this is a potential gamebreaker for a lot of people on PvE servers. Please implement a fix to stop griefers for ruining other people's game.
  11. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=159167 Long thread here. And I agree, BW should do something about it ASAP. I do not want to be ganked while questing on a PvE server.
  12. yes, this should be fixed ASAP. I have no interest in PvP and rolled on a PvE for this reason. If people in PvE servers wanna do PvP, they are the Warzones. Griefers in PvE servers who act like this are simply put cowards, losers in RL who need some easy kills to wide their deficient ego. BW should definitely implement a fix as in Rift where, if NOT flagged for PvP, there is no way for you to get damage a character of the other faction.
  13. LOL for those who did not see the sarcasm in the OP's original post
  14. I fully agree with the OP. There should be an option to make flagging for PvP impossible as in Rifts. I have absolutely no interest for PvP, and could not care less. In fact, those leeches who follow players from the other side hoping they will trigger an AOE to get flagged are cowards who have no guts to go to the PvP servers and want easy kills. This may be a gamebreaker for a lot of people, myself included, so please Bioware, implement an option so we can avoid PvP. Thank you
