  1. This IA fight is the most difficult in the game - it's way harder than the ones at the end of chapter 2/3. Most of the tips have been given, LOS, interrupt etc. Running around and around the computer terminals on the right is usually best for this. Bear in mind that you have to beat him down 3 times i.e. don't panic after you win once and think it's all gone wrong. here is his entry at Torhead http://www.torhead.com/npc/6Zz1Hts/darth-jadus which will show you the importance of dealing with his Affliction/Thundering Blast - there are quite a few tips in the comments section. If you are still having problems I would recommend asking a guildmate to help you out. I know it feels like you are failing if you do this, but frankly you are not being helped by the bug that you can't attack DJ unless you are standing right next to him. This bug was highlighted (and complained about) well over a month ago when we were still in Beta and still isn't fixed. Well done Bioware - brilliant service.
  2. Hey Gabe, a lot of us Concealment specced Ops have doubts about the upcoming patch. We've listened to your interview with Cynical Brit and you say we're doing too much damage and the numbers/metrics support the nerf. But see, we can't see your numbers all we have to go on is our gameplay experience and my gameplay experience is telling me you are wrong. So I have a challenge for you to prove that you understand the class and how it plays. I want to see you post a video of you playing a 31pt Concealment Operative in a Huttball match. If you do this at least we will know you have some understanding of the class. as a bonus if you top the scoreboard in either damage dealt or number of kills I promise I'll stop complaining about the 1.1.1 patch on the forums. /signed RubberOrc. (anyone else agree with me please /sign below)
  3. I don't think so, I offered to get her a medpack but she refused and then suicided.
  4. So did anyone else find the *twist* a bit weak?
  5. My agent's attitude to the Sith changed over the course of the game. He started off quite respectful but then... Spoilers for Chapter 2 Spoilers for Chapter 3
  6. Thank you jreaperx for your thread and comments. All we Ops tend to see in threads are complaints about how an Op/Scoundrel hit someone for a bajillion damage and killed them before they could move. It's good to see that not everyone thinks that. A concealment Op has one thing going for them over other classes - their opening burst damage. Yes, it upsets people when they get jumped by a stealthed Op who takes a big chuck of health, but for those who don't panic it's not too hard to survive and even turn the tables. If Jarring Strike lasts half the time it becomes useless. Why give someone a full resolve bar for a 1.5s stun? And with Acid Blade getting nerfed as well? It's just too much, too fast. i Just hope I can finish up my class storyline before the patch
  7. So how did we go from this: http://www.redrancor.com/category/articles/swtor/swtor-georg-zoeller-details-current-state-class-balance Where on January 11th Georg Zoeller, Lead combat designer says there are no major issues in class balancing for PVP and that they don't make decisions based on who is loudest in the forums, to lets nerf ops with a nerf bat? Either Georg is a big fat liar (sorry Georg) or someone not in charge of combat design is designing the combat now - I'm betting someone from marketing listening to all the qq. No coincidence they announced this after the subs went through.
