  1. What I'm gonna say is from a perpective of a relatively well-geared lvl50 (I've also had extensive high-end pvp/arena experience with rogue in wow, which is extremely simiar to infiltration). 1. So I've played infiltration the majority of times, but I've also experimented with every other specs out there. My conclusion: infiltration is fine if you can play it. As for the part of being squishy, I couldn't agree more, we are by far one of the squishyest classes in game. If you have troubles adopting to the requiremenets of this playstyle I recommend you spec 23/18/0 (which has an edge over infiltration in pvp anyway). It's just the way it is, the class is squishy, if you start taking dmg you'll die eventually, so you aren't looking for to mitigate the dmg you take, you want to avoid it as long as possible (preferably long enough to get a kill). You've got your tools to counter both melee and force attacks, plus you've got the stun and several interrupts. Try not to overlay these cooldowns. Also you need to know when to vanish, I can't comment on that further, it's something you know or not. 2. About dmg reduction see the 1st point. 3. Our role is dominating snipers and mages. I dont agree with you concerning energy regeneration, I barely find myself energy-starved. If you don't overlay the energy regeneration coming from leaving stealth and blackout you should have no problems. 4. I don't know about you but I do quite amazing dmg. I can kill a mage or sniper from 100% in about 3 gcd with the proper setup. It's all about picking targets, if you start going to to toe with tanks you'll lose, noting to see here move along. Another thing that you probably dont do right is shadow striking. You should never use it unless it's procced, which will happen once every 10 sec. If you use it any more often you are gimping yourself. A lot. Try setting up coordinated burst, infiltration works that way. If you want to do good sustained dmg while being more tanky (tho doing almost no burst) go 23/18/0 as I said above.
  2. Stalker 2 piece bonus gives you +5 meter range on your mind snap and force slow, the 4 piece bonus gives a 3rd charge of force potency and a 15 sec reduced cd on it. Survivor 2 piece gives you 10 sec reduced cd on spinning kick, the 4 piece gives a 5% dmg increse against players when guard is active.
  3. While I'm 100% sure that a tank specced shadow with the healer companion could do it very easily back when i had to kill him i didn't feel like respeccing so I did as infiltration. I also only played with Qyzen, so beating him felt kinda impossible so I used a little trick. Basically what I did is I went all out of him, the companion died pretty fast into the fight, around 60-65%. After that I moved towards the entrance of the cave and basically just line of sighted his spells while throwing project and force breach at him, keeping him slowed with force slow 100% time. When he finally decides to come after you near the entrance you just force sprint away from him while staying near the wall, where there's other los possibilities. I kept doing this for a few minutes, only going toe to toe with him when force stun was up. That was it, pretty cheesy but I just didn't feel like going all the way back to the republic fleet to respec (also gearing up tharan cedrax is a good idea as Qyzen dies way too fast).
  4. I've reached Dark V around lvl45ish, I found it extremely fun and felt that this approach fit the story perfectly, great experience I gotta say.
