  1. That efficiency will help him get done faster if nothing else, so you can see if it crits. I can't remember if it actually helps the crit or not. Also, if you get his affection to 10,000, that adds another 5% to the crit chance.
  2. No, this is not true. The HTN (Hutt Trade Network) is completely separate from the GTNs on the fleets. There are 3 trade networks, republic, empire, and hutt.
  3. An item is worth whatever someone will pay for it. If no one buys it at that price, they will either lower the price or not sell it. There is nothing in this game that you are required to buy off of the GTN.
  4. You can send the item to an alt and let them buy, or trade for I guess, the weapon, or whatever it is. Or, you can buy it and send it to them. It is bound to your legacy, so any character on your legacy that matches the class of the weapon can use it.
  5. Yes, it seems that you do get a little bit.
  6. In your situaton, I would just wait. If you had plenty of credits now I'd say you might as well buy the speeder and save the money, but not if it means being broke and having to scramble, farm, whatever to get your bank back up to a reasonable level.
  7. I am a mercenary, but the heat issue is the same. I like to do rapid shot if not every other attack, at least every third attack or so. That keeps your heat down pretty well. Like was said above, your heat dissipates a lot slower the higher it is.

    Speeder

You do not have to buy the speeder training to get the speeder. I do not know about being level 50, because I already was, but I bought a Tier 3 speeder and I still only have the Tier one training. One of the devs has suggested in the past to buy your speeder now and wait on the training to save money.
  9. How can you take a good idea in the title of your post and make it a joke in your first statement in that post? Titles for crafting would be cool, but if you can't take it seriously without them that is your problem.
  10. Anyone who has worked in software production will understand how hard it can be to fix bugs that don't happen the same way every time you run through the operation.
  11. If it's hilts barrel, or armoring, look at the damage or armor number, that will tell you what you need to know. The mod number is still irrelavent.
  12. I just started an IA Sunday and picked Operative some time yesterday afternoon. With the stealth, vibroblade attacks, and blaster and grenade attacks, I'm finding on Op to be a nice combo of a Mercenary and an Assassin. There is an element of both kinds of combat to them.
  13. I haven't played a sniper at all, and just started my Operative Sunday night. That said, I would advise hitting up any of your damage over time attacks early, and keep an eye on the cooldown and hit them up again as soon as they are ready. That way you have that persistent damage being done throughout the fight along with your other attacks.
  14. Yep, if you buy those recipes now you should be in good shape for after 1.2.
  15. There are many more important things to fix than this. I never go to the crew skill vendor, it is much more cost effective to run missions to get mats. I'm sure many other people don't use them either, so there are other issues that they can address first to help every player.
  16. That number is completely irrelevant. Just look at the stats.
  17. I would agree with the advice above in your situation, drop artifice. Pick up slicing or scavenging instead. Gathering skills allow you to hit up all of the nodes you see on planets, just like you can do with Arch now. Also, the UT metals sell really well, especially the purple ones you get when the mission crits, but even the green ones will sell. Anything you gather sell on the GTN, do not vendor it. There are some things that, for the trouble, you are better off vendoring, but you will figure that out if it doesn't sell on the GTN. Check out the prices other people are selling the same materials for. That will help you figure out what to put yours up for. You have to leave a deposit, but you get that back when it sells or even if it doesn't sell. Also, as you get closer and closer to 50 the quests start returning more credits. And make sure you are looting everything you can, even if you just sell the stuff to a vendor. Even 50-100 credits for a green item is credits you didn't have before.
  18. Several members of my guild have written and posted the background stories of their characters, what they were doing leading up to the beginning of the game, how they got to that point. I am happy just picking up the story where it begins and seeing where it takes me, but others want the background. Like others have said, they were left vague for a reason, so that players can craft their own background, or origin, story to fit their own character.
  19. That was a reference to the CE vendor in the game, as you can tell by the word "vendor" after CE, not a reference to the stuff that comes with the CE physical edition. It is just easier to make a stupid comment though isn't it?
  20. Flawed story? Because there aren't real people who are nieve and hypoctrical?
  21. It seems like they are supposed to be there. With both my Inq and BH sometimes they are not, and just the nameplates show like you said, but usually they are there.
  22. Yes, with 1.2 the mission complet screens will not pop up when you're in combat. There will be an option so they won't pop up at all in pvp warzones. Also, they will go to pending instead of closing open windows if you have two windows open already.
  23. When you download the PTS build you basically have two different copies of the game on your computer. You then choose which one to play on, PTS or regular. You don't have to download the regular game again.
