I dont know what happened, but I started over with a new character since downloading the patch and the lighting in the whole game seems to have been given a working over. Nothing major, mind you, but it seems more high quality. Anyone else seeing this?

Wow. So greedy for their precious dollars that they are willing to lie, cheat, deceive, swindle, false advertise and anything else just to make sure they milk as much money as they can from the people. So damn tired of this behaviour.

Ever notice that if you do the holo-terminal trick to see high quality textures, only characters change but not the environment? Nothing on my ship changes except my character. No backdrop, nothing.

Why be patient when we dont get the product that was advertised? That principle applies to EVERYTHING in the business world. So no. People have every damn right to be upset. People dont like being told and/or shown their product is something specific and getting something completely different and then are told by those same people that the choice was made FOR you BEFORE the game was even released and we had a chance to say no.

Anyone else notice that the secret behind the reponse today was to showcase the voiced cutscenes at the highest quality possible? This game has more voice acting than any other. They saved the best for those scenes and screwed everything else leading up to them. Funny. Do you people want some cookies now?

I hate false advertising. You do NOT promote one thing and remove the option for people to have that same experience, regardless of your damn reasons for it, especially if you design an engine to deliberately degrade the quality because your saving the best for your damn voice acting scenes only. There are people who spent a lot of money building their computers to play a game in the Star Wars universe at max graphical settings that were advertised. Are you going to be fair and recompense them for it? I dont think your inclined to do so. After all, if your going to so blatanly flip people off for wanting something that you showed everyone that they would get when they bought this game, then why would you do anything of the sort? Your comments about what the devs say and all that is nothing short than trying to avert a PR disaster and make people continue to stick with a game that is of less quality than you led them to believe. For crying out loud, World of Warcraft has higher resolution capability over this game. That is sad. You cheated/robbed/whatever people Bioware and you deserve any and all backlash that you get for doing so.
