  1. I haven't unsubbed... But I'm definitely not as happy with the game as I thought I would be. I LIKE the game, sure, but I'm not really wanting to spend hours on end playing it like I did with WoW back in the day. Maybe it's because I'm not 15 years old anymore, that's probably at least part of the reason. But the game overall is just more of the same. The story element is awesome, I've always loved Bioware games for their story and this is no different. But the combat, we've definitely seen before, the way quests work. I dunno, I definitely like the game. I'm taking my time leveling, I only play maybe an hour or two a day, more if I feel up to it of course. I'll probably level my character to 50, and try and raid some, MAYBE make an alt. But I don't see myself playing this game for years.
  2. I really like the one I got from my preorder. I think it looks awesome, kind of reminds me of the one Darth Maul rides in episode 1.
  3. I kind of like the idea of nothing being able to do both Tank and Healer with the same character, but being able to switch between a dps and a tank/healer is definitely awesome. Tanking is my favorite thing to do in MMO, and in RPGs in general. But there are times where I want someone else to take the drivers seat and take all the heat of being a tank. Being a dps is a lot easier imo, and maybe every once in a while I'd like to dps instead of tank. Being able to switch back and forth is awesome. I shouldn't have to make 2 guardians, because I wanna be able to tank, and dps as a guardian I don't have a problem rolling alts either, the story alone in this game is enough to warrant playing alts, and the different ways classes play. But I'm completely for duel specs. Loved it in wow, wouldn't mind it at all in this.
  4. From my experience no one I've ever grouped with has needed for a companion. Only one person has asked, and I myself have asked a couple time, and it's not a big deal. So as far as I can tell, people who think they're entitled to tank gear just as much as, I dunno.... the TANK?? Is a minority. Which is cool imo.
  5. Ok, I'm gonna start rolling need on everything under the sun. Nah, I can't use it all, but I can vendor it and make credits. I was there doing just as much work as you, if I wanna roll need on your epic blaster/armor/whatever just so I can vendor it, then I will. If you want it so bad after I win, you can pay me the creds I would make for vendoring it, plus an extra amount (whatever I feel is fair) then that's fine too. That seems pretty fair to me.
  6. People just rolling need on freaking everything piss me off. I've rolled need on stuff for companions before, but I ALWAYS ask the group "Mind if I need for companion" and they're usually cool with it. It really isn't necessary to gear your companions the same way you gear yourself, at least not for me. People who roll need in a 4 person group for companions is dumb IMO, your cpu companion who isn't contributing anything to our immediate group shouldn't get the same chance as me who's tanking for your ***. I don't mind you rolling on gear for your companion, so long as you ask everyone else if they're cool with it. That imo, is part of building a strong community. Not just sitting back "well, I don't care if you like it or not. Bottom line, I'm rolling on it" that's just a bad way to be. That'd almost be the real life equivalent to taking things out of my cart at the grocery store because there's none left on the shelves. So to make my point shorter. I don't think anyone reals cares that you roll on stuff for your companions, just be considerate and make sure no one else wants them for themselves.

  8. If you were part of the early access you have a 2 day grace period to put in your code. If you weren't, I would assume that, yes, you do need to put in your code before playing.
  9. Sure, waiting in ques suck. I definitely don't like it... actually the only reason I'm on these forums is because I'm waiting in a que right now. But it is to be expected in a new MMO, especially one that's supposed to have millions of people playing, right at launch. So I don't really mind it. Sure, I wish I didn't have to wait, but it's not the end of world. One thing that does bug me though... I waited in a que for like 30 minutes. Played for 10 minutes (just long enough to read through and choose my characters crafting skills) and got kicked off the server. Now I'm waiting in a 40+ minute long que again. That's pretty lame. I understand the long ques, but getting kicked off in ten minutes then having to wait again sucks for sure.
