One annoying thing for me is the ship. It's hard to get to (like if a companion wants to talk to me on the ship) and besides getting from place to place, it isn't very useful. My suggestions: Always land on the planet (orbital stations are just a waste of time). Be able to bind to the ship or at least to something inside the hanger. Be able to go inside the ship without taking off from the planet. Make a button or something to take off with. Give some useful things in the ship. Mail access (I mean really, you should be able to get mail in your ship) and also a terminal for the galactic market (you know, email and "ebay" on your ship) These changed would make the ships much more worth while.
