  1. So, I went to create a new character last nigh and tried Erebus, then it said "Name unavailable". So then I tried Mortarion, Magnus, Fulgrim, and Lorgar... all came back "Username Invalid". Why would Bioware put a block on primarch names for characters?
  2. I recently read a post that there will be new epic relics available for 200 daily commendations in 1.2. As a veteran WoW player, whenever a new patch like this came out in WoW the current special currency would be reset in some way (downgraded into another currency, or changed into gold, etc.). This was to prevent people from stockpiling currency and buying the new top grade stuff on day 1. So, assuming this post regarding the 200 Daily commendation relics is correct/true, does anyone know if Bioware will be resetting our current daily commendations currently in our possession in some way?
  3. Hey! I'm actually having no problem with the companion. Loken's not dying, I am. He's in med stance. He just can't keep me up, and I'm in all modded orange gear, and have always been a few levels ahead of the recommended planet level. I only have a problem in some boss fights. So I've been wondering if I should be using a dps companion and just try and burn them down faster before I die. I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong, but so far I am not impressed with this class. I would like to run all 8 classes for the story content, but after this Agent I'm not so sure I'm going to try a smuggler. Either way, I'm at the tail end of the class quest and will only be doing dailies with her now. I'll raid on my trooper and assassin. Thank you both very much though!!
  4. Well, this is probably a little too late as I just hit 50 an hour ago... This agent is my 3rd 50. I have an assassin a and trooper both at 50. This agent made it all the way to level 20 before taking a death, but from 20-50 she had many more deaths than either my SI or Trooper (especially on Voss). I assume I have been doing something wrong. I've been in the mind set of using a healer companion (Loken in this case), which I wonder if that was the best thing to do. Even when popping all the defensive CDs she still takes a ton of damage. What companions are other Snipers using? I also seriously doubt I will be running any end game content on this agent, other than dailies. However I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone may be willing to offer. My rotation changes based upon what I'm fighting (regular mobs, strongs, or elites). However I am interested in hearing about what rotations other people are using. Thank you so much for your time.
  5. Disregard... found other thread with people with same issue, and CSR response. Sorry for the impatience and wasting space. Not seeing an option to delete thread. One person posted a solution on this thread which got me through the 2nd fight. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=100640&highlight=Darth+Jadus Yet apparently we have do a third time.... Utterly ridiculous. Forgive me if this has been covered in a previous post, I'm too irritated right now to go through all the pages of threads. Class Quest: Hero of the people. On the 2nd fight against Darth Jadus. Despite the guy being directly in front of me... at all times... it keeps saying I can not see him. Occasionally it will let me see him, and I can get a shot or two off... but typically I'm at 50% health by that time and just hitting him for the first time in the encounter. He can do plenty of damage to me, but it just keeps saying I can't see him. This has happened 4 times in a row now. Obviously there are plenty of agents who have levelled beyond this quest. Has anyone else encountered this bug? If so, how did you get past it? On a side note, one of my other 50's class quest line also had to do this ridiculous fighting class bosses twice in a row. Really??? Who thought this was a good idea????
  6. Right, early on, before I realized you could turn the light/dark dialgue option on, I had wracked up a bunch of light points. Now, in order to stay on track to get that gear as I come to new planets, I'm pretty much forced to stay on light decisions to have access to that gear. I'm making choices, I'd rather not make, and loosing all kinds of affection points with companions (and yes, I've even tried switching them out and so on). Is this how this system is intended to work? I'm finding it to be more annoying as it's forcing me to commit to a path in a situation where we're apparently supposed to have freedom of choice. Or I could just forget about getting the gear. I hope there's something I'm missing.
  7. I'm level 34. Tried this with two groups with others who were 30-34. We wipe once, the quest resets itself, yet the 4 elites and 2 champion mobs stay active. We manage to down them on a 2nd try, yet do not get quest credit as the quest resets from the wipe. Quest log states this quest is level 31. I really don't think so. And yes, we used cc's repeatedly, no one screwed up and broke any cc... This is just ridiculous. Is there some mechanic to this to kill off the adds quicker?
