  1. Dec 13th here. I've chomped right through the bit. My poor molars...
  2. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Why do I feel like the football got yanked away at the last second?!
  3. So I bought this game for my buddy first, off of Amazon. He's been having a rough go of it lately. Lost his job... had to swallow his pride, forget finding a new job in his actual profession for the time being and take a job in retail. Being a nocturnal fella he's had to struggle to re-acclimate to a job that has him climbing out of bed at 4:30am. He got that worked out, but they're still having a rough financial holiday... and to top it off... he just got kidney stones again. So I'm glad that he did get into the Early Access last night. If ever a fella deserved a break... So with Amazon only allowing one pre-order code per customer, I figure I'll get mine at Gamestop. Pre-paid in the store... got no pre-order code. Realized and went back the next day, spoke with the kid at the register and he looked at me like I had lobsters coming out of my ears. So I just asked for a refund, figuring I'll order from Gamestop online and cut out the middle-man... still received no code after the token 24 hour waiting period. I tried to call them and got a message that due to a high volume of calls they couldn't speak with me... then the service hung up. Right... well... once again I cancelled my order and went elsewhere. I finally ordered the game through Best Buy online and viola! Confirmation email then the pre-order code. O, holy night! It looks like things are coming together, finally. I have the technological savvy of a grapefruit and had to have some assistance with getting through the set-up, but it looks like I'm set to start whenever I get the all-clear. But last night, I wound up watching my friend unleash his frustrations and accrue darkside points on liveserver as his Inquisitor laid waste to all his opposition... and all was right with the world. I'm still itchin' to go... but I'm glad I was able to put a smile on my friend's beleaguered face in what has been a bitter yule around this country. It gave me some perspective and allowed me to appreciate my luck, as infrequent or strange as it may be. On that note, I wish all of you happy holidays and good luck in the new year. See ya in the game soon!
