Same here... Bought two hypercrates... and of the 60 boxes only 2 actually did not contain a great chance cube (perhaps the great chance is when they are not in the crate). But I should have seen the signs: the very first box I opened contained 2 great chance cubes, which "blessed" me with a ball toss and an imperial banner. I think for a very very very long time I will be healed from buying anything from the cartel market.... and I will return for some time to the other space themed MMO, which at least gives each time some small tokens to buy the stuff you wanted directly.... when one was weak enough to open one of their lockboxes...

I have to disagree. As I pointed out some reputation armors highlight (or unlock or are registered as collected or what ever) some don't... "Dignitary" and "BK-O" are both reputation armors but reacted differently (- I don't even like some of the armors - but I am one of "these collectors"... I want the collection complete). I can even compare within my family: my brother bought the "Councilor" which is unlocked for me but did not for him. "Marka Ragnos" (not a "pure" reputation armor I know) was unlocked by CS for me... it unlocked by itself for my brother. Perhaps this is less a suggestion thread but more a bug report?

... but that is the "problem" most of them do not highlight... it remains as if I never bought them. If I can get more copies of the armor (on character / on legacy) afterwards is a whole different problem....

Were exactly is the difference between "Voss Dignitary" (collection does not recognize that I bought the set) and "BK-0 Combustion" (which unlocked)? The German collection text even (still) states that the "Voss Dignitary" armor (and some others...) is exclusively obtainable via reputation vendors... (and in the past the armors where highlighted as "collected"... now nothing) ... and I checked of course if I had bought the entire sets...

Not that it helps you in any way... when I had my "almost-nothing unlocks" shopping spree on the fleet bazar BK-0 Combustion was the only armor to unlock in collections after two days (with a dozen others remaining "locked").

The loss of certificates is one aspect. I find it rather disturbing, that an option to buy armors directly (for unlocks - one can still buy them for "fun") was removed and replaced by an cartel market "gamble version".

Hi, this might be one of my last posts as I have just canceled my subscription out of anger and frustration. in late October I have fallen in the trap of buying armors and head gear from the vendors in the fleet bazar. Naive as I am I thought - the armor is shown in collections... the only legal way to acquire it is via fleet bazar... so there might be a chance it will unlock in collections. Bought them... equipped them... made an astonished face... of the 15 acquired sets / head gears: 2 unlocked at once; 1 unlocked after two days; 12 not at all... which I found somewhat unfavorable. I knew from the past that the unlocks might be buggy, "Marka Ragnos" / "Series-505" were unlocked some months ago after a ticket to CS. So I thought - O.K. another ticket and all will be well - but no CS actually answered me "That armors bought from the fleet bazar had NEVER unlocked in collections". An answer I knew was false for two reasons: I had unlocks in the past and a minority had just unlocked a few days ago (just for fun facts: my brother bought other armors at the same time - which unlocked). I asked: why show these armors in collections if the only legal way to acquire them is the fleet bazar - if they do not unlock. Now I received the answer that the fleet unlock had stopped, when the armors became part of the armor packs of the cartel market - meaning via 4.0 patch. I have to admit I have not found the information in the patch notes nor in the explanations of the cartel market changes - but I am not a native speaker, so I might have missed a point. So I sit here with dozens of armors bound to the wrong character, with (almost) no collection unlocks and having spent almost all of my remaining cartel certificates...Just to be lied to by the CS with the following change from lie to "oh we just changed the rules - tough luck - now you can gamble for the armors you just bought". To summarize my plea (for those playing after me): Get your programming straight! Treat all armors equal: All unlock or none unlock (Knowing Bioware Austin it will be "none"). Sorry for rambling... My thoughts exactly... Story in group content does not exist for me. I'm a casual / very slow player (been here from beta and still have 3 class stories to go). I enjoy the stories and test out the various dialogue possibilities (thanks to the esc-key). i'm not a good player, unhealthily shy (and slightly handicapped) so in a FP I guess my group would strangle me (RL)... in fact I only tried a PUG FP run once... and it was an experience I have no intention to repeat ever (so many new insults learned). For a short time I tested soloing FPs which I have outleveled - but thanks to the new tactical FPs this road seems blocked too. To make it short: If the new story content is behind a FP or OP wall, then - at least for me - there is no new content.

To a certain extend yes... I agree with you that the story construction and that your decisions have "actual consequences" are indeed well put together. Playing almost exclusively LS chars I allowed him to survive, while my brother as Darksider always lets him die... but... I lose all my sense of humor if I see statements like Corsiero's... too often I had to get my brother out of a hospital because a bunch of idiots found gay bashing hilarious...

I do not think it is a sign they do not care enough. For me the general overtone seems more of exhaustion, overwhelmed by disappointment and (to some extent) hoping against all hope. For me the adamant silence of EA/BW has long lost the status of "neutrality". At a certain point saying nothing is supporting the opposite opinon. I'm normally not even a MMO-player. My brother, his partner and my wife convinced me to play as the men were into Star Wars an d my wife loved to RP. Now I am the only one left of us. My brother and his partner left "because we can get discrimination for free in the RL... we don't have to pay for it with additional benefit of souring our love for SW". My wife stopped for the general sexism of the game: "I'm not a straight male... I don't have struggled for equal rights almost all my life, just to be reminded by a game that I am a second class being / not part of an important customer group".

Vielleicht ist Religion der "... und Anderes-Part" des Threads? Irgend ein schlauer Kopf hat einmal gesagt: Religion bringt das Beste im Menschen zum Vorschein... und das Schlimmste!

In meinem Weltbild ist Religion aus dem Bedarf des Menschen entstanden sich "Unerklärliches" zu erklären und aus dem Bedürfnis sich als Gruppe zu definieren. Zudem haben religiöse Organisationen über Jahrtausende die sozialen und bildenden Aufgaben ausgeübt, die erst später nach und nach vom modernen Staat oder laizistischen Gruppen übernommen wurden.

Wer, wenn nicht die Natur hat das denn sonst vorgesehen? Sind das alles gelangweilte Masochisten, die eines morgens aufgewacht sind und gedacht haben: was kann ich erfinden um mich von anderen abzugrenzen, damit sie mich hänseln, verachten oder sonst wie erniedigen können? Zudem beurteilst Du durch diese Aussage doch... Terroristen gibt es im Spiel haufenweise - einige sind sogar Begleiter. Der Islam existiert als Religion im SW-Universum wohl nicht und somit auch keine religiösen Eiferer dieser Couleur... aber religiöse Eiferer gibt es trotzdem (bspw. einige Revaniter oder deren Gegner). Rassismus ist im Imperium fast die Norm, in der Republik unterschwellig vorhanden. Woher weisst Du das da keine sind? Hast Du allen NPCs in die Unterwäsche geschaut? Eins der Verkaufsargumente des Spiels war: Mache Deine eigene Saga! Vielleicht ist meine Saga die Geschichte von XY dem schwulen Sith Juggernaut, Schlächter der Massen oder von XYZ der lieblichen lesbischen Schmugglerin. Davon ist das Spiel erlebnis anderer doch völlig unberührt. Es wird ja keiner gezwungen einen homosexuellen Char zu spielen... und man wird auch nicht schlagartig schwul oder lesbisch, wenn man eine Option im Spiel sieht - man muss sie ja nicht auswählen. Und mir ist noch keine aggressive Forderung von Seiten der Homosexuellen untergekommen (weder hier noch im Englischen Chat)... kein "ich will ich will ich will". Eher ein "es wurde versprochen und jetzt hätte ich gern".
