  1. Well, I suppose if this many people are having an issue it might not be an isolated incident. Bump for awareness!
  2. Nope! Still here. Thanks for the tip! Off for now, but leaving this thread open so I can refresh just in case.
  3. Thanks all, that's what I needed to know. As long as my processor and stuff is OK, that shouldn't be too pricey of an upgrade.
  4. Hey folks! I'm a Bounty Hunter in the 40s and recently tried PVP for the first time. The game has been running smoothly overall, with the occasional drop in quality in highly populated areas; however, my experience with PVP last night was quite literally unplayable. I lowered my graphics settings to the absolute minimum and tried once more today, and I still only get a vague idea of what's going on. It is too choppy to play PVP at the moment, which is very disappointing considering PVP is one of my favorite aspects to any MMO. I'm not making a "Rawr! Bioware your game is too intensive!" thread or anything like that, I'd like to solve my own problem, but I don't have a huge amount of computer know-how to know what is causing the problem. I don't want to get a completely new machine, but I'm willing to upgrade a few choice pieces if it will increase the quality of the game. So, if any of you happen to be pretty computer Savy, would you mind taking a look at the specs below and letting me know where I'm hurting? I'd appreciate it! 5. This happens to me from time to time as well. At first I thought it was some kind of lag on my part, but it seems as if it isn't. I think this may be part of the "ability delay" problem that a lot of people have been up in arms about. I believe Devs are looking for a fix - they've said they are, anyway.
  6. I thought I might at first, but once I saw we tanked mostly with cool gadgets, and only about 20% blaster involved, I didn't mind.
  7. I'm not entirely sure...and it might be a crazy theory...but I suggest you try running vent in Admin mode.
  8. Twas a joke! Geez. Fett survived because the fans said he survived, so it depends on what you're willing to accept as canon. Though at this point I agree.
  9. Boba Fett isn't bound by your petty advanced class archetypes, he is only bound by the stomach contractions of a Sarlacc. He's a Powertech. Solo blaster.
  10. I've always liked the "alternative" tank class. That may not fit as well here, but Powertech seemed to fit the bill the most.
  11. I've also noticed a problem with other players knocking something out of my ability range. I haven't brought it up yet, just because I'm still low level (20's) and I understand still playing around with my abilities. Once we get into higher levels and crowd control becomes a bigger issue, it may be something to bring up. By then though, I imagine everyone will understand the need to be careful. As far as the second question, I believe we eventually get a grappling hook that can pull enemies into us.
  12. I deliver the prize but still narrow my eyes, because my time I don't like to waste.
  13. I think it's just giving an example of another talent that procs railshot.
  14. I'm Bobba the Fett. I bounty hunt for Jabba Hutt to finance my 'Vette. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yFiJN7eo6Q ::EDIT:: Aw man, why'd my thread get moved out of BH? Its a Bounty Hunter song!
  15. I guess everyone has things that annoy them. You don't enjoy people asking questions on forums, I don't enjoy people being needlessly rude on forums.
  16. I didn't find it that foolish a question, considering many other games include racial passive or active abilities. It's not like he asked "I get a retractable light saber, Rite?"
  17. Grand opening is the 20th. Arguably the 15th for those that chose to invest in the "shop" early on. Everything before that is complimentary gravy.
  18. I'm not entirely sure they knew themselves exactly the amount of pre-orders that would get in and on what schedule - and since that information is now available to us, I imagine they chose to release it to address concerns like yours. I think they started this whole process two days early as a compromise for what would, by its nature, be a bit of an unpredictable launch. I think it was a good compromise, but that's certainly debatable.
  19. No relevant amount of people will allow this to influence their decision to subscribe, because most fully understand what "up to" means. People are attempting to lay aside the obvious to try and justify their frustration - that's the only way I can understand it.
  20. I really don't understand it either. I've read multiple threads trying to understand why this is "the worst launch ever" and how it could possibly "tarnish the game forever." Some of them are needless and silly QQing from people who can't express anything more than "Me Want Now. Give." Others seem incredibly intelligent in their attempt to rationalize frustration, but it seems to be essentially the same "Gimme gimme gimme" attitude. It doesn't matter. I'll likely be in tomorrow morning, and I'll never look at a thread on this topic again. People saying that this "injustice" has completely ruined their gaming experience are highly likely to do the same.
  21. That's odd. Though certainly not 100% reliable, I've seen mutliple posts from people getting in from as late early-mid October.
