  1. TL/DR Returning players need to go to EA, sign in, change your password, then resub or call the support number. *** Hey every one! So I recently went through the process of setting up a subscription. I am a Return player and it has been years since I played! I had quite a bit of trouble going through this process but was successful in the end. I believe this will help other people who are also return players as there are some little things you have to do before subscribing and they don't do a good job of informing you about it. I had purchased a 30 days subscription (the one time Fee) and it wasn't going through. I took the time to call the support number, (1-855-345-2186 for US) and found out that EA has a security rule in place that does not allow subscriptions to go through on older accounts that haven't been logged into in a while. If you log in and change your password. further subs will go through. Next are the steps you can take. Apparently all you have to do is log into the EA web page (https://www.ea.com/ea-play-live) and then reset your password. From this point you have two options. Call the Support, and then they will work with you to get your subscription to go through, I had a horrible time with this so I opted for the second option. I did this all in the same day though so I think that is the only reason I was able to do the second option. I refunded the original subscription through steam (**NOTE!** steams page does say that it is not refundable, I did this in the same day with in a couple hours so I think this is why I was able to) and then re-sub a new one. This worked for me. I hope this is helpful as I didn't see anything else out there with the note that if you are a returning player, you need to go into EA and change your password and then you it will work.
