I played DAoC for awhile (another EA controlled MMO via Mythic) last I played the game was so full of hacks and cheaters it wasn't worth playing anymore, after argueing with Customer Service off and on for about a week the response I received back from EA was in essence telling me "It doesn't matter what you think" (still have the email if anyone wants to read for themselves. I played that game for close to 7 years and told EA where they could shove the account, haven't played it since. I have Zero issues doing the same for this account, throwing the Malgus statue on the grill, and putting it up on youtube. Treat your subscribers with a little decency and respect is all we ask, don't make us suffer for the poor decisions that we didn't make and quit making decisions that lead us to believe that subscribing was a mistake. I understand that all you care about is money and technically speaking the revenue you receive from F2P is more than that from the subscribers but the number 1 rule in any customer service related field is "It takes 10 positive things being said to negate 1 negative"... are there any subscribers who can make a list where the "positive" is longer than the "negative"?

So you put out a whack-job idea like this to get feedback and then report someone for giving said feedback? O.o Yes, he was a little crass and I do apologize that someone made you look stupid in public but beyond that he was PC, didn't insult or curse, and I see no violation of any license agreements... So with that being said, is stating that you are reporting someone the new "I'm telling my mommy!!!"? If you are reporting someone for a justifiable reason then report them, don't say it, do it. If you replace all of you willpower with strength you simply will not find a group and if you use GF to find one, chances are high that the first person who looks at your gear will start laughing at you, call you every variation of noob possible (potentially creating a few on the fly) and then vote kick you. So yes, you "could" do it but don't expect the carebear response from the other players that you appear to be looking for.

I wish that I too lived in a fantasy world where I could piss and moan on a forum somewhere until people gave me what I wanted as well. Seriously?! Threatening to unsub because you aren't capable of going out and getting cash on your own? I say that you aren't capable for if you were, one would think you would be spending more time doing that instead of whining because you actually have to do something for yourself. And for the record, people don't take the forums seriously because too many people with "spoiled brat syndrome" are whining on it. I have consistently progressed through the BH, Sorc, and Warrior Storylines at a minimum of a 4 level deficit so whining about that is invalid, I completed the Sorc Story and the Warrior at level 45 and 46 with no outside help so I really don't want to hear it. As for credits, in the time that it has taken me to write this response I could have easily farmed 60-100k credits, so you have no grounds to complain in this regard. Less QQ more pewpew

So... you posted something on a "public" forum and when you got responses other than the specific one in which you were expected you get defensive... are you 12 or just never seen the internet before?

Don't respond with ridiculous grammar Nazi comments in a means to cloud decent logic, when ones intellectual capability feels threatened they always seem to respond with some witty remark in regards to grammar, maybe you should have played more MMO's "other than" SWG and perhaps you too would know this. I personally am quite thankful this isn't SWG, I am very thankful that there isn't a PK Hunter system in place else you would have entire guilds grouping up and placing chain bounties on a player. What if there was a CD or a Lockout one might ask? Then I have to expect to be ganked every 2-7 days, you want PvP and potentially ganking ill equipped and lesser skilled players? Go play on a PvP server, noob ganking doesn't equal fun and enjoyment for the entire family. If the response is then let there be a system put into place where one can choose this... it's there already, you can flag yourself and attack other flagged opposite faction PC's to your hearts content (If one doesn't play on a PvP server already)

One word "quitcher*****in" I believe you made your point and obvious frustration very apparent on your own thread, can you at least respect the owner of this thread and their intent by not trying to hijack it?

I fully intend on playing my PT and on keeping my account active no matter what. These aren't nerfs, bringing an overpowered class into balance with the others is called "balance", want to play OP? Go play a single player offline game and download a character editor. Pre 1.2 the majority of the classes one saw in PvP were Telekinetic Sages, Snipers, and Mercs... I just find it absolutely hilarious how the mentality of "Going to take my toys and go home" seems to creep in. No single 1 subscriber's $15 a month is any more important than anyone else, no single 1 subscribers enjoyment is more important than the next, to put on a tirade such as this is akin to saying that one doesn't care about the overall game, the enjoyment of everyone else, so long as one gets their way on how "they" want to play. In this, all I can really say is "Adios" the game will continue without you and potentially be much more enjoyable for others without logging in every 2-3 days and seeing a threatening /ragequit post on these forums.

Heaven forbid someone gives some semblance of a compliment or positive feedback to the developers in a thread that won't get lost in the shuffle. Yes, I did have that choice, we all have choices... I chose to share my opinion, you chose to share yours. We both also had the option of not saying anything at all, you didn't take that option so you can't really fault me for it either... it all balances out.

First off "No" this isn't some ranting thread meant to do nothing than Troll the masses, this is merely my personal play experience thus far... well... maybe a "little" ranting. <chuckles> I have seen a lot of ranting and raving about this issue or that issue, from FPS issues to ability delays... I play on the Imperial side and there are times that I can sit there and click an ability 10 times in the middle of combat and it never works or it will self activate 2 minutes later after I had originally clicked on it. I have a toon that I have yet to receive my digital items for through the in game mail and the first response from customer support was "Check your in game mail"... ya think? I'm giving it time because I have a rare thing called "patience". But you know what? The game has only been out for a month... a month. No game is absolutely perfect at release, this one has come damned close to it though. I had a friend last night considering not buying the game because someone he knows had a bunch of issues about graphics tears, FPS issues, and a whole list of problems and I had no freaking clue what he was talking about. I play the game on a system that has a dual core 64 bit processor, 2.5 gb of DDR2 Ram, a 1 gb Nvidia Video card, and Vista OS... VISTA mind you and I haven't had any of these issues. Sometimes I have lag, but I deal with it as should we all because there is no guarantee that 100% of the blame for said issues falls on the server side. Sure, I could use a better system but the one I have is adequate right now to enjoy the game with, and I am enjoying myself. I've seen many posts that are nothing but negative remarks, nothing more than posts full of sarcasm and spite towards a game that has been out for a Month... A MONTH! No game is perfect the first month following release, I have played almost every MMO on the market and this one surpasses most of them (if not all of them) in regards to stability and I play on a system that has been piecemeal-ed together from randomly cannibalized systems that are 1-5 years old, I am rather impressed by that, nothing about it is "top of the line", on the contrary, by today's standards most of it would be "bottom of the line" and I have next to no issues. There is an in-game system for resolving such client based issues though, submit a ticket, get your facts straight, if you don't then the blame falls on you for not doing what "you" can to help resolve the issue, be mature about what you say and do because no one takes a kid that is throwing a tantrum seriously, and I have seen many tantrums thrown in these forums. Ticked off about something? Take a moment to breath before raging about it. Just got your butt handed to you in PvP? I played DAOC on dial-up for the first 2 years and stayed on par when it came to PvP, learn to play with what you have, learn to deal with the limitations you face and deal with it rather than breaking keyboards or throwing your mouse. I personally can't stand the current space system, if I wanted to play Star fox then I would hook up my Nintendo but me making a bunch of sideways comments and colorful remarks isn't going to change that is it? Would bashing on the capabilities of the developer make it any better? No, all that would accomplish is I would embarrass myself... quite a few people need to stop embarrassing themselves. Having FPS issues? Turn your settings down and turn your Shadows off... might suck but its either that, get a better system, or don't play. Having issues on Illum? Well if you know that the issues exist and you go there any ways... who is truly to blame for you being upset? It's like the kid suing McDonald's for making them fat, no one forced them to shove cheeseburgers in their face. If you know there are issues in the PvP system and you put yourself into that situation then you have no one to blame but yourself if you end up pissed off. Storyline wise, it's amazing... seriously. I am amazed by the twists, turns, and plot-hooks. I'm typically pretty good about figuring out what will happen next in a story, this one has left me stumped on most occasions. All in all, keep up the awesome work Bioware, you all seriously deserve a raise. Putting out a great product, putting up with all of us every single day ranting and complaining about something, and each of you continuing to do your part to better the game despite the hardships we as the players put you through, I am very impressed and I personally will be here for some time to come to see where this ride takes me.

Honestly, Neither do I. I wish all the above was the case, then I wouldn't have to wait for a quest item to respawn because someone else ninja's it out from under me, I wouldn't have to worry about security boxes being ninja'd as I attack the mobs around it. I wouldn't get stuck waiting for a mob to respawn because the one that someone raced to when they saw me heading towards it is probably the only one on the planet with a 20 minute respawn timer I can't go more than 5 seconds without having a screen full of people going every which direction and that has been going on for almost 42 levels now on every single planet. As for End Game content being Non-Existent... game has been out for 3 weeks, in this time you have achieved level 50, gotten fully geared, and fully experienced ALL end game content there is? People who complain about there not being any End Game content less than a month after release probably aren't looked at in much of a serious manner.
