The only reason I went Imperial was to RP Mandalorian. If I knew the PvP would have been this unbalanced, I would have leveled up a Trooper along with my main.

Sounds like you are a Empire Player. Reroll Republic if you don't like Huttball. If you can't figure out what the root cause of the problem is then we nor anyone can help you. Enjoy your Huttball.

So I've come up against a few assassins stealthys. Now I'll try not to complain to much ha but I always see assassins get to 1% Hp vanish/ restealth with a **** ton of dots on them or grenades. Heal up and come straight back. I don't mind the vanish part it's part of there class but to use it like a pally bubble type thing and go stealth removing everything with no kind of draw back seems a tad outta control. That part needs to be looked at. If they use there vanish button and do have damage and all that gets removed they should only be in stealth for 6 seconds thats still time to get away and heal etc and still givin them some sort of draw back.
That's just one idea, I'm sure there are alot more. I don't want to nerf them just adjust that aspect

God forbid skillful players use all of their abilities to their advantage in a pvp fight. FYI Vanish doesn't remove dots, that doesn't mean another ability doesn't. 1+1=2!

I dunno man, I love the extra charge granted by the 4pc stalker bonus, however I'm 2/31/8. I do see how the 2pc survivor bonus could be of more use for 23/18 specs.

So, I'm finally playing the 2/31/8 spec.. It's ridiculous lol but situational compared to the other spec. overall, very happy right now
This is the spec I've been using since I hit 50, I dibbled and dabbled in other specs but I keep coming back to this one. This spec in the hands of a smart player can destroy anyone 1 v 1 and in some situations 2 v 1 once geared. I have found no better pvp dps spec.

It's not just the Shadow, all classes are bland until the late 30's early 40's where you start finally finishing up one of your talent trees and you get key abilities. The only advise I can give is if you want to play this class, stick with it. Once you hit 40 it gets much, much better.

Maybe it changes at level 50 and Expertise, but my Shadow Strike (Maul) crits people for up to 4k(rare, ~3.2-3.5k on average) at level 40. I've yet to test out the recommended Infiltration spec for Burst through Project+Force Breach, but I've had decent success just backstabbing people to death.
At my Shadow Strike crits for 3.2k -4k against other level 50 players.

I just cannot believe what people are talking about non-effectiveness of this class.
With practice you roflstomp every class in the game. Dmg is great, you have solutions for every class in game, use vanish correctly when your enemies pop defensive cds and wait for them to wear off, you can swap stances, altough you drain your force by doing so, I do it only in huttball if I am BC. Overall, Shadow/Sin is great class with alot of potenital for focus fire or tanking, it just depends about players performance like with every other class .
Bads who don't know how to play the class make it look bad. Pros who know how to play the class make it look like a god damn monster on the battlefield. It's just that simple. Unfortunately there are many, many bads and so few pros.

I have no problem with Operatives. Sure if my CD's are down and they open on me when I am not at 100% health I am going to die. I should, they are doing what they are built to do. It's a shame that bads are going to ruin the pvp in this game like they have so many others. Bads are like the internet version of aids. You are a disease killing pvp in any and every MMO. At least the bads who pick up GW2 will know what they are getting into, that game can't get here soon enough.

You do realize that each piece of Champion gear grants 46 expertise, right? Weapon is 48. Math is hard!
Math from websites and the actual fu****** data that my character screen showed last night when I logged off are different. If the website say the stats are one thing and my character sheet shows another then there's obviously a discrepancy. Where it resides I can't say cause I can't login as I'm at work. The only thing I can say is the problem may be with my champ gloves, I may have accidentally switched them with my Cent gloves on my companion Nadia. Again I will post the screenshot when I get home. Till then I permit you to keep riding my jock. Enjoy.
