  1. Uhhhh... You did. I get your pain, but really, it comes down more to the people with whom you are playing and not balance. In WZ pop balance means nothing.
  2. I'm thinking more like 16 man teams. Trying to field 24+, even in many guilds would be difficult at best. And yeah, FPS could be an issue. I know the BW team has a lot of work cut out for them. I'm not even thinking this could/should be something that happens soon. Maybe around the 9month or 1 year mark would be good. I just want the opportunity to queue with more of my guildmates and have some multiple objective based, larger (not huge mind you, not yet) scenarios. Something a little more exciting than Cap two and win, or pass, stun, pass, stun, pass pass win.
  3. I don't post often, but THIS is an idea I would like to see implemented in TOR eventually. Support or against, please read and post on the thread. Seeing as it's PvP oriented, I'm asking this forum/community specifically to see how it would be received by this community as a whole. Thank you!
  4. One of the things I love about SWTOR is the WZs. I love PvP in all forms. But let's face it, until the dev team rebuilds Ilum I'm relegated to WZs for the most part. From the release of TOR I noticed the smaller groups, smaller guilds and the cliques that formed in many of these guilds. Yes, part of this is because of the people involved, but I feel it also stems directly from the smaller groups required to accomplish our objectives in either PvE or PvP. In my mind, since I am of the PvP mindset, I would like to see a larger team WZ put in the game. One that could still be queued as a full group ala the rated WZs. I feel this would allow us to queue with larger groups from our respective guilds and build that community feeling in the guild even more. I love my guild, and I am saddened at times that I can't play with as many of them at once as I want. Currently only being able to queue with three other guildmates is frustrating. Soon rated will drop for us and I can queue with 7 others, but while I'm not in a large guild there are still more I would love to have an larger scale objective based WZ in which we could all participate.
  5. AHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAha! Man, what a line of tripe! Multiple levels that would normally have taken a couple days, yes. I've heard that. 10+ I've heard of without anything to back it up. But 1-60? In two hours? That's such a load of crap.
  6. Grats to our fellow Port Nowhere guild, <Condemned> Nice job guys!
  7. I lol'd. I guess all in all, I'm very discerning to whom I give my MVP vote. But since I tend to defend objectives, I do tend to throw my vote toward the guy/gal defending with me or actively taking and defending any other objectives.
  8. Note: Gentle Giant made the statue, not BW. Your cries will go unheard here. Also note, when GG did make lightsabers as part of the statue as a whole on other projects, they were notorious for snapping of due in part to the rigidity. Softer plastic is the way to go for long, thin pieces, not resin cast. Next time be more careful when attaching it.
  9. I disagree. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I disagree. You're stating your opinion as if it is the only one and is shared by the entire community. And it has worked. In every MMO I've played where they didn't have, or before they had, cross server PvP queues, there WAS a community. You would end up running into the same faces day in and day out. It forced people to strategize if they wanted to win because the enemy just stomped your usual MO method, in my experience. It was fun to run into someone you knew was good in PvP and beat them. Although, I will admit there were times when you ran up against the "best team" and people would give up before they started too. The "hit it and quit it" mentality for WFs/BGs/WZs didn't start until after cross-realms were introduced and became the norm in MMOs. And I believe those were only started to correct individual server population imbalances which caused BG queues to be disgustingly long. The problem with doing that in TOR is that the balance is the same across the board: Sith currently outnumber Republic everywhere. I'm guessing after release that may balance out some. So the bolster system would still need to be in place to keep queue times at a "fair rate." Thus gaining nothing and hindering any community growth on the PvP front. You might be right that it's quick. But not necessarily lazy. Or it could be that BW has stated repeatedly they do not want a xrealm queue option as it does ruin the community on a server.
