UI fix: Implement Rift's UI

few patches ago they said they fixed the bug with voidstar that would kick you to character select whenever you tried to enter the match. well its back! again!!!!!!! this same bug has been around since beta and they have said they fixed it multiple times. please fix it for real! id actually like to pvp once in a while

id prefer that it takes a raid of 45 people

revan didnt die at the end of the foundry. he had well then more then enough hp left when he finally did the lighting flash disappearing act. i bet you a trillion credits he teleported out to some other location. tell you what though i was pretty disappointed in how they made Revan into this whining little wimp. He did zero damage to anyone in my party besides my companion. During the conversation i was hoping for more of a chance to pick his brain but it gave the basic i was the emperors ***** backstory. i really hope that he did just port out and that he wasnt that pathetic.

not to mention a lot of higher level armor resembles power rangers a lot

yeah i know its way to late in the game to throw this idea into actual gameplay but i thought it was just an awesome idea. and would also give more of the smuggler bountyhunter feeling to your story. lol what if they did leave them a 3rd faction only, they would get gutter stomped non stop and nobody would play them haha

no i meant that those classes could choose which side they wanted to join. it would be like a neutral starter and then join good or bad side. poor smugs and hunters would get face stomped by jedi/sith if that were the case haha

There should have been a 3rd neutral faction in this game. The neutral faction could of been smuggler and bounty hunter. Forcing those two classes into the factions they are currently in was a bad choice to me. Both of them throughout star wars lore never chose a fixed side. Some would work for republic/rebels and others would work for the Empire and some wouldnt work for either instead would smuggle/hunt things for cartels and corporations. Bioware could have made it so you start out on your starter planet but through choices you make while questing through it you can either decide to go Republic or Empire. If I'm playing my bounty hunter sometimes I dont feel like being a total dick to everyone and wonder why am I working with the Empire when I dont agree with their practices. And vice versa with the Smuggler, I choose to shoot a child in the face and supply spice to keep people addicted and obedient but I choose Republic? It would of been a funner story/choice for those classes had the been their own faction. Republic: Jedi knight, Jedi wizard (lulz), Trooper Neutral: Smuggler, Bounty Hunter Empire: Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Imperial Agent

good point here friend. when im swimming in the oceans in swtor i get exhausted too... OH WAIT?! i just remembered that swimming isnt even possible in this game because there is literally no swim function and all water is knee high at best.

ive been through tatooine and am now starting alderaan. every planet so far has been small as my balls. you go to point a b c d back to a finish go to next planet rinse repeat. the "explorable" areas are just empty wastelands off to the side. you know exactly where to "explore" because on your map there are nice outlines of where you havent been yet so you can go "explore" to the predetermined place. usually when i would explore in mmo's i wouldnt know where the hell im going because the map wouldnt be totally sectioned off like a petting zoo. also the zones(planets) are small as hell. everyone talks **** to Rift because its so tiny but rift is bigger than all of the planets combined.

WARNING: everything the op posted is 90% TRUE! ive been playing this game since beta months and months ago and was hoping the launch would be different from my experience back then and sadly it is the same except the terrain graphics are working properly. everything the op stated is TRUE, besides your character dying instantly all the time. I have all my companions on gathering missions 24/7 and my sith jugg just cakewalks through everything. and my friend and i can duo all heroics and dungeons. dont let all the fanboys shouting down the OP make the false sense that the game isnt what he said. because it is completely the way he said it is. also the UI is completely utterly useless. everquest 1 has a better ui then this game

i find it funny that you guys are arguing about how if you want mmo staples you should go play another game. this IS the game, please really? yeah you are correct that this actually is a game, good job. but you also must remember that bioware is labeling this as a mmo. mmo's for the last 4-5 years have been launching with these features the op is requesting. and the ones that didn't got torn to shreds by the community/playerbase, but in this instance it seems to be forgivable because a: its star wars b: its bioware. really, people open your eyes. the ui in this game is worse then eq1's. EQ1!!!!!! now we could all agree that maybe bioware was so busy prepping the stories and planets and animations that they thought its ok these other features like: customizable ui, searchable auction house, combat logs, chat functions that actually function wouldn't be in the game at launch, which is the most critical period of an mmo's life. you can shout down people who are shocked at the fact these don't exist while this game is claiming to be a full fledged AAA mmo, but it doesnt hide the fact that this is unacceptable.

xcore, first off amazing post. your words were like butter! second, i have experienced this issue myself and it drives me crazy. especially with skills like the warriors skill Ravage. I activate it and the damage is done the gcd has refreshed and im mashing my next attack but im still standing there doing an epic movement with my lightsaber while 3 troopers shoot my face off i hope they do take your post to heart because it needs to be addressed. if bioware doesnt then they are idiots.
