This has worked for my Win 7, steps: 1. Right-click on Shortcut for the launcher 2. Properties 3. Compatibility tab 4. Then I check run in compatibility mode, and select Windows 7, even I already are in a Win 7 install 5. Check Disable desktop composition 6. Hi Everyone, I will buy a new laptop in the next weeks, and need to know by others experience, which is the best laptop to play SWTOR on Ultra Settings. There is only three conditions that need to be met, please ... 1. The laptop need to have a monitor of a least 17" of size, 2. need to play swtor on ultra settings and 3. i have a max budget of 1.800 USD It is possible to have a laptop with the above conditions ? and if it is, according to your experience which one will be the correct one ? I love star wars since my first movie … that is like 30 or more years ago, i love video games too, since my first video game … like 30 or more years ago … I loved galaxies, when it came out and played until it when down … I love swtor since the first news i read about it … a few years ago … and i have been supporting this game since day one … actually … having a real life, a demanding job, 2 kids, a wife, and a social life, results on having really little time to myself, and i am not ashamed to say that i almost commit my entire personal free time to play the only game that i love and still play, i simple dont have the interest and time to play another thing, i just enjoy this game too much !!! And until now i have never have a real reason to post anything on forums, besides probably a few lines related to nothing important, but i certainly read the forums constantly, to check on what people say or think about swtor … until a few hours ago … specifically until the news of this new event came out … after read and read again and again about it … the need to express myself for the first time on the forums was just … unbearable So i have to say it … this is the first time that i really feel that they really make a big mistake, no…. No a mistake … i feel insulted … i feel that they insulted me … i feel they just have announced something that they really did not wanna to do …. And they did it with the most notorious lack of motivation, self respect for their job or simply desire to do it … i dont even know if this event qualify as a job actually done … as i feel that they have done anything, this event has nothing, nothing at all, is just the same things we already have … maybe is just me … but i just feel sad. I feel sad because for the first time i believe the game is really going to transform into something that even for me … probably one of the most unconditional supporters, a player that you can through almost anything to make him happy … will not be fun to play anymore. Maybe is just me … but i just feel sad … and worry for the only game that i play and love

Hello Everyone, I just got a new job ... hey !!! good for me !!! ... LOL, but that means i have less time to play the game that i love !!!, and for those who are asking it, yes ... is this one . So i need to stay mobile in order to play the little time i have left, so i decide to buy a Gaming Laptop, my first two options where: 1. Toshiba Cosmio and 2. Samsung Series 7, ......... but they are too expensive, arround 1500-2000 USD, and even i am willing to sell my soul in order to get it if i have no other choise, i prefer not to do it at the moment , so i was wandering if there are another less espensive options. I know that if i do not put like at least 1500 USD i wont be able to play ULTRA settings, but that does not botter me, i can endure (with pain in my hard) to play it with medium settings, so, and finally getting to my question ...
