Hi everyone, Please don’t think I haven’t done my “homework” researching the sentinel’s forum, but I’m still a little confused what spec is “the best” or should be while leveling after 1.2. I have a 50 GS and around 40 BH, but my Sentinel is only 16. I’m really enjoying leveling him, however I can’t decide what path to follow, Watchman or Focus. It seems to me and please, it is just a very limited view, that watchman is more like a PvE tree, while Focus is PvP. Having in mind I don’t care about PvP, should I keep investing my points into watchman tree? Thank you in advance!

Figgs, I couldn’t agree more or put it in better words. You really translated all my concerns about my gunslinger. Thank you sir!! For a class entirely focused in DPS I think we are not at the place we supposed to be. In my guild I see people respecting all the time to fulfill our Ops needs better, with almost all classes being able to take different roles as needed while I can only DPS. The problem is, my gunslinger is not the best DPS they can use or have the utility of other classes. Come on, I can’t even help the Ops with CC, because it is limited to droids. Regarding hybrids I think it is absurd that, for instance, some BH specs are virtually impossible to kill and can outperformance pure DPS or healing classes. If they don’t want to give us more DPS I would be happy to have more utility somehow. Congratulations for your post!

I'm so happy that I've found this thread as well. I though it was something wrong with my settings... I've tried different settings for queued skills... Checked my internet connection, FPS, lag spikes, etc. The one thing I knew is that something didnt feel right at all... As a former DAOC, LOTRO, WoW, AoC, Warhammer, Rift... player I knew something was wrong with combat but I couldnt say what... ehehe, after 10 years playing MMOs looks like I'm still a noob... Thanks so much OP. I hope they fix this very soon.
