  1. Rashava was indeed an excellent impromptu wingman! One thing that helps to extend the bypass a bit is to pre-charge a slug before you pop it. Also, once popped, I go nuts taking shots, even if they aren't well lined up or if the target is moving erratically. You may also notice it more often since, if given the chance, I'll (try to) pop Shayd over pretty much any other imp if given a choice between two =P I don't actually run with Ion Rail since I prefer not to have people accuse me of cheesing. I think some of my teammates in the game Shayd was referencing may have used it, which could account for a few of what might have appeared to be one-shots. Also, a full slug crit can one-shot a scout with full shields/full hull.
  2. Some really solid games tonight. The team may or may not have suggested to "keep Shayd in check" at the start. I do feel bad using bypass sometimes, but I get killed by it just as often as I use it. I draw the line at ion tapping though, that's just one thing I refuse to do that is blatantly OP. Shout outs to my wingman Jon-ik and my gunship rival Delphi as well!
  3. Posted this relevant thread a while ago: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=707157&highlight=tokyo+drifting I haven't been playing much recently, but your experience suggests it's still a problem.
  4. The price you pay for guarding a node while most of the team is off spawn camping. Also, I may or may not have been barrel rolling into walls the first few games back on the desktop after holiday travel laptop gaming...
  5. Not sure if bug or intended but... I've noticed that some combination of strafing + entering railgun scope will allow you to move (slowly) while sniping. I have played a fair amount of games as the gunship (100+) and occasionally find myself drifting unintentionally. My PTT is set to shift+mouse button, and while speaking i occasionally hit one of WASD with shift pressed (set to strafe by default). I assume the strafe is unlike the usual WASD controls, because even with engines killed (via X or right-click railgun) I continue to drift in whatever direction I accidentally started strafing. This makes sniping interesting, especially in tight spaces. At one point I managed to self-destruct while in railgun-sniping mode, which came as a pretty hilarious surprise. As far as fixing the "stuck strafing" situation, strafing in the opposite direction can eventually bring you to a stop, but the only reliable way of coming to a complete stop is to respawn. It makes it difficult to dogfight, snipe, or even just cap an objective when your ship is translating at some odd angle, in addition to flying forward if the engines are on. Has anyone else experienced this with strafe? Am I going crazy?
  6. I have a theory that the scoreboard sometimes attributes the loss of health of a guardian/jugg's enure/endure pain as a single hit for whoever is attacking them at the time. It happened to me in this recent screenshot http://assets-cloud.enjin.com/users/1490490/pics/original/2244503.jpg My shadow hits hard, but not that hard, and 11.6k is about 30% of a tank jugg's health. If you look in the screenshot in question here, the other team had a tank jugg, Mahaal, so it's possible it happened to Saronde as well.
  7. Disregard this post if this has changed recently, but... The SA relic has separate lockouts for heals and for damage, so classes with passive heals (balance sage/shadow, any gunslinger, etc) can proc the power surge buff more often than once every twenty seconds. The two procs can't occur at the same time, but they can occur without locking each other out.
  8. Spec was http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600RZrsrrdobforsZcM0M.3 I suppose I can give the ship droid a shot, the UI cast glitches have been a pain since 2.0 EDIT: You were right about the ship, new parse of 2448 here: http://www.torparse.com/a/205797/time/1367531933/1367532243/0/Overview

  13. Line too long? follow these simple steps: 1) pick up a cube of your own - now you're a time bomb! 2) proceed to attack line, not killing anyone, just weakening them all below 50% 3) In the process of #2, you will probably die - this is good! 4) blow up on everyone, the damage will kill others with orbs, chain reaction 5) ??? 6) profit Also at some point in this process Nads will get mad at you
  14. Shout-out to Courmac for guarding my poor sage yesterday. I usually dread the nights I get stuck healing, and having a pug step up to take the hits for me is always a nice surprise. Also props for being one of the only true tank vanguards left.
