  1. Agreed. There's an interesting inconsistency here. If they want to give me a limitless supply of lottery boxes, happy to test it for them. BIOWARE: any chance of an update? How soon can we use our stuff, and should CS be as unhelpful as they were? First post describes the whole problem.
  2. Well you may not get the chance to sell them if they auto-bind to you...
  3. Hmm, no. . All CS said was that because they saw it as a bug, it wasn't their problem. They never said that they had alerted anybody in IT to it... Sorry if this seems OTT, but I've been in enough big businesses to know that such situations don't tend to result in people in one silo talking to those in the next one... Would be great to get a response from Bioware in this thread.
  4. As I said several times, the first thing I did was to check binding and timer. I'm completely aware that right clicking stuff "uses" it and that if I did so, it would bind. That is simply not what happened,
  5. Sadly nothing yet. Have not seen anything on this topic in the dev tracker either, so I don't think I missed any other relevant threads.
  6. How could somebody not like olives? Anyhow, too late for me now. I think perhaps the way forward is a CS ticket to get them swapped for one of the mission rewards. Would be good to get some yellow text here to confirm whether that would be appropriate for players to do until the problem is resolved. Note, I never had a timer. It is the first thing I checked.
  7. What I should have done (and intended to do) was to stick the whole lot on GTN and then just buy the stuff I wanted. The RNG hates me.
  8. In my case, certainly no timer, and certainly not bound to legacy. I checked before I used them as was considering just sticking them on GTN, but I couldn't. With regards to the idea of destroying stuff, I actually didn't know you could do that. Not much fun as a game though, spend £30 on a hypercrate and then spend all night destroying the contents... Although I guess it could be akin to buying a bottle of JD and then spending all night turning it into wee.
  9. OK, so against my better judgement, I bought a hypercrate. Got a load of encrypted datacubes, several of which I got multiple times. Avoiding spoilers, I won't say what they do, but you can only use each TYPE of cube once. So if you get it more than once, the duplicates are useless to you. OK, consider selling them? Nope, BOP. Can't GTN and can't sell to vendor either. They'll just sit in the cargo hold filling space. The damned things don't even stack. About all they are good for is incentivising people to buy new cargo holds because they're now clogged with stuff that the game won't let them use and won't let them get rid of. Guessing this can't have been the intended function. Any chance of a fix?
  10. Just adding my voice to the many - when I chose my server, Hydian Way, it was quiet. The queue is now completely unreasonable. Server transfers without wiping out game progress are a must. If they are worried about lack of accountability for the occasional moron, then only allow them once in a blue moon or something. Either that, or they need to be able to add power to the servers that they have facilitated the overpopulation of. Only bioware were in a position to prevent this problem and now they have caused it, only they can solve it for everyone affected. Tom. P.S. Goodness knows why the forum has now decided to present itself to me in a Germanic language.
