I vote Yes! I have a level 1 character slot already reserving the name I want to use as soon as it opens up. BTW EQ1 and EQ2 will do name changes. You could get it free if you changed servers, if you bought it from the defunct exchange server or if you were being harassed. Otherwise, there was a fee. I am hoping it will come out soon! Much sooner than the 1.3 release

I got the legs from the Findsman quest on Voss. Voss yeilded two sets of these leg pieces for me. Don't remember where the other leg piece came from. Though, I am trying to find the rest of the pieces - it looks cool!

Customer Support just explained that they are working on integrating the name change into a release .. but they have no idea when that will happen. I for one would pay money to change it. Though, I did tell them not too much .. I'm not a Jedi in RL and I have to pay rent.

I have several threads that say "you can't do xxxx" but what naming conventions are accepted? I've seen ( ' ), ( - ), and even ( ^ ), and other character accents .... And what of the Legacy Names? Can you have those same characters? What can you do?

Are there any plans to develop a way to change a character's name? Or even their Legacy name?

I'm still researching .. but I've found that with my character that if I send my companion on an Investigation mission. Log out to another character and then back in I have to start all the way back at level 10-17 before I can get to the current level of missions for the skill. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks I think I solved it .. Close the initial Investigation window. Close the Skills window. Then reopen everything again. That worked for me!
